The home’s layout offers both flexibility and comfort across its four bedrooms. Two bedrooms are located on the main living level, including a queen guest room and a bunk-style room ideal for families or additional guests, complemented by a shared full bath. Downstairs, the primary suite provides a private retreat with a king bed, ensuite bath, and direct access to the outdoor deck and hot tub. A fourth bedroom with a queen bed also enjoys access to the lower deck, while additional conveniences such as a half bath, laundry area, and two-car garage enhance ease for extended stays. Outdoor living is equally considered, with two spacious decks designed to take in the surrounding natural beauty. Neighborhood: Carnelian Heights - Located in the beautiful Carnelian Bay area you are less than 10 minutes from Tahoe City and the beach, .5 a mile from a year-round trail system, and 25 minutes to 3 major ski resorts. - The cabin is situated on a quiet street just minutes away from an endless network of National Forest trails. During the winter months hit the trails and enjoy cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling, and in the summer these same trails turn into the perfect hiking, mountain biking, or dirt biking areas. You can even drive your car along the dirt road in the summers to access the famous Tahoe Rim Trail and hike to Watson Peak! This same trailhead also offers access to a paved bike path that can take you to Tahoe City and beyond. - In the winter months, the bike path is well maintained for 3 miles so you can easily snowshoe or XC ski out and back through the woods. The location of the home places you nearby some of the best skiing in the area with Palisades Tahoe 20 minutes away and only 25 minutes from Northstar Ski Resort. - If Nordic skiing is more your thing you are less than 10 minutes from the Tahoe City Nordic XC Center. - For those looking for a little less outdoor adventure, the beautiful town of Tahoe City is only 10 minutes away where you will find large grocery stores, boutique shops, a wide variety of bars and restaurants, a movie theater, and in the summer a farmer’s market and live music. Only 5 minutes down the road in the other direction brings you to Agate Bay where you will find the famous Gar Woods Grill and pier as well as Watermans Landing where you can rent a wide variety of watercraft. - The home is within a 12-minute walk to the nearest public transportation stop on Tahoe's public transportation system called TART. This stop is on the Mainline and is stop HWY 28 at Old County RD which runs every hour and stops along the entire western shore of Lake Tahoe from Tahoma to the north shore at Incline Village. Or take advantage of the home's close driving proximity to Tahoe City and make the short 10-minute drive where you can use the FREE park and ride to reach locations such as Olympic Park and Northstar California Resort.

- There are five spaces available in the driveway. - If applicable, Guest may be responsible for the loss of any parking passes/permits in amounts up to $400 per pass/permit.

90% Refund: Receive a 90% refund when you cancel your reservation at least 30 days before check-in.
40% Refund: Receive a 40% refund when you cancel your reservation at least 14 days before check-in.
No Refund: Reservations canceled 29 days or less before check-in are not eligible for a refund.
Refunds subject to a 5% processing fee of the total.
Things you need to know
There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the property unless used for amenities outside the property, such as shared hot tub and pool areas. Please return the linens in the Property after use.
Guests will have access to the entire house, private outdoor areas including a deck with a hot tub, and five parking places in the driveway.
Please note that grills and outdoor furniture are not available during the months of November to April due to snow. ** If you are renting this home from April until the first snowfall there are NO fires allowed in Lake Tahoe.
Please note that like most homes in the area, this ++home does not have A/C.++
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.
If you are renting this home from November through March, please remember that there may be winter driving conditions, and a 4-wheel drive with all-terrain tires or snow chains for your 2-wheel drive tires might be necessary for safe travel. Even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days, side roads can still be icy and have snow on them. Please also be aware of long travel times and pass closures due to winter weather conditions.
Restrictions
- Minimum night stay requirements vary by home and time of year.
- Smoking is NOT allowed inside the Rental Property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged to guests if smoking inside the Rental Property occurs or evidence is found of smoking inside.
- People other than those included in the Guest Count may not stay in the property. Any other person on Rental Property is the sole responsibility of Guest.
- Excessive noise inside quiet hours are not permitted and will result in eviction and cancellation with no refund.
- Rental Property is privately owned; Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the Rental Property or its facilities.
- The Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest and Rental Party.
- Guest agrees to keep the property and all furnishings in good order and only use appliances for their intended uses.
- Water and Septic: The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper.
- Renter(s) are responsible for themselves, their family, and guests at all times. Children should be supervised at all times.
- If Rental Party exceeds the maximum occupancy Guest will be asked to leave the Rental Property with no refunds. Infants under 2 years are not counted.
- At least one parent or adult must be present at all times when children under the age of 16 are in the Rental Property or using any of the outdoor facilities such as the Hot Tub.
- Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for money, jewelry, or other valuables lost, stolen, or left behind in the Rental Property, but will use their best effort to remedy the situation.
- No rowdy behavior is permitted.
- No subletting of the Rental Property or assigning of this agreement is permitted.
- Please note that we charge per guest after a set number. Please provide the entire group count in your reservation request. If an update to the group count is needed after confirming the reservation, the reservation cost may increase.
- Guest agrees to follow all local, state, and federal level mandates, restrictions, or public health orders.
