Just 5 miles away, Tahoe City unfolds with its lively eateries, boutiques, cultural events, and more, catering to you and your family. - When the snow starts to fall you are in the perfect location being just minutes away from Homewood Mountain Resort, featuring 2,000 skiable acres. With Ellis Peak sheltering the entire mountain from the high ridge winds no need to worry about “wind hold” at this mountain when everyone else is. Ever wanted to ride in a snowcat and get fresh tracks in the backcountry? Homewood Snowcat Adventures will get you access to 750 acres of train on the flanks of Ellis Peak, above the resort’s traditional ski area boundary with a licensed guide! For those wanting to venture further Palisades Tahoe is a 13-minute drive away offering endless fun all year round.

Things you need to know
We provide a starting supply of paper towels and toilet paper, which is designed to get you from your arrival through your first grocery run. We recommend picking up a supply to get your through the rest of your stay.
Travel sized shampoo, body wash, and bar soap is provided. We still recommend bringing your own items if you prefer particular brands, or are joining us for an extended stay.
Chamberlands Beach and Mountain Club (Available July 1 - Labor Day Weekend) - Included in your rental is a membership card providing access to the amenities available at Chamberlands Beach & Mountain Club. It is one of the most premier subdivisions at Lake Tahoe. See Amenity List Below. The beach also has a historic bar and pier, lake view restaurant and a casual grill.

Restrictions
Guests & Occupancy
- Primary guest must be an adult and stay for the entire reservation.
- Guests under 25 may be refused for stays under 30 nights.
- Maximum occupancy is 6, excluding children under (12) years old. Sleeping arrangements for 8.
- $250 per extra guest per day; violations may result in immediate eviction without refund.
- Guest is responsible for all occupants.
- Reservation may not be transferred or used for non-residential purposes.
Events & Noise
- Parties, events, weddings, or gatherings are prohibited.
- Noise complaints result in a $1,000 fee and may require immediate departure.
Prohibited Activities
- Pets: Not allowed without written approval.
- Smoking or vaping: Prohibited anywhere on property; penalty is 3× total rent and fees.
- Illegal activity, fireworks, tents, inflatables, RVs, and trailers are prohibited.
- Use of any outdoor firepit or outdoor fireplace is strictly prohibited.
Equipment & Amenities
- 4WD and snow tires may be required; no refunds for weather or travel disruptions.
- Air conditioning _(if equipped)_: Not guaranteed and not refundable.
- Hot tubs _(if equipped)_: Use-at-own-risk; no children under 12; refunds capped at $250.
- Internet, utilities, and HOA amenities are not guaranteed.
- Parking: Limited to garage/driveway only; no street parking; lost remotes/passes $50 each.
- Locked owner areas are off-limits.
Checkout & Care
- Late check-out fee is $150 per 30 minutes.
- Guests remaining past Noon on check-out day without consent are trespassing.
- Home must be left tidy; extra cleaning is $50/hour.
- Trash must be secured in bear-proof containers.
- Lost keys incur a $200+ re-key fee.
