Neighborhood: Carnelian Heights - Situated on a quiet street in the beautiful Carnelian Bay, you can’t beat the location of this home! While at the house, you will love the peaceful surroundings thanks to the home being tucked back off the main road, making it an ideal spot for children to play outside or to enjoy the outdoor space in peace! - The home places you within close proximity to the lake, multiple ski resorts, and a vast network of National Forest trails, a fun adventure is never far away. - During the summer months make the 5-minute drive down to Waterman’s Landing Beach where you can enjoy a picnic, have a snack at the café, or find just about every type of watercraft available to rent. Year-round trails are located near the house where you can find plenty of places to hike, bike during the summer, and try out XC skiing and sledding in the winter. - During the winter months, you are within 20 minutes drive to either Palisades Tahoe or Northstar ski resorts and less than 10 minutes from the Tahoe Nordic XC center. - If you are looking for some city life you are only 10 minutes in either direction for the beautiful towns of Kings Beach and Tahoe City where you will find white sand beaches, a movie theater, grocery stores, a wide variety of bars and restaurants, boutique shopping, farmer's markets, and live music in the summer.
Parking information
- Two driveways provide space for up to 5 cars to park, with the upper driveway providing parking space for 2 cars and the lower driveway with parking space for 3. - If applicable, Guest may be responsible for the loss of any parking passes/permits in amounts up to $400 per pass/permit.

90% Refund: Receive a 90% refund when you cancel your reservation at least 30 days before check-in.
40% Refund: Receive a 40% refund when you cancel your reservation at least 14 days before check-in.
No Refund: Reservations canceled 29 days or less before check-in are not eligible for a refund.
Refunds subject to a 10% processing fee of the total.
Things you need to know
There is no daily housekeeping service.
While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the property unless used for amenities outside the property, such as shared hot tub and pool areas. Please return the linens in the Property after use.
Guests will have access to the entire house and the outdoor areas, which include a spacious deck with a private hot tub.
Please note that, like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C.
Please note, outdoor furniture are not available during the months of November to April due to snow.
Keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.
Charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in this county and will result in a $1,500 citation if used.
Restrictions
- Minimum night stay requirements vary by home and time of year.
- Smoking is NOT allowed inside the Rental Property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged to guests if smoking inside the Rental Property occurs or evidence is found of smoking inside.
- People other than those included in the Guest Count may not stay in the property. Any other person on Rental Property is the sole responsibility of Guest.
- Excessive noise inside quiet hours are not permitted and will result in eviction and cancellation with no refund.
- Rental Property is privately owned; Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the Rental Property or its facilities.
- The Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest and Rental Party.
- Guest agrees to keep the property and all furnishings in good order and only use appliances for their intended uses.
- Water and Septic: The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper.
- Renter(s) are responsible for themselves, their family, and guests at all times. Children should be supervised at all times.
- If Rental Party exceeds the maximum occupancy Guest will be asked to leave the Rental Property with no refunds. Infants under 2 years are not counted.
- At least one parent or adult must be present at all times when children under the age of 16 are in the Rental Property or using any of the outdoor facilities such as the Hot Tub.
- Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for money, jewelry, or other valuables lost, stolen, or left behind in the Rental Property, but will use their best effort to remedy the situation.
- No rowdy behavior is permitted.
- No subletting of the Rental Property or assigning of this agreement is permitted.
- Please note that we charge per guest after a set number. Please provide the entire group count in your reservation request. If an update to the group count is needed after confirming the reservation, the reservation cost may increase.
- Guest agrees to follow all local, state, and federal level mandates, restrictions, or public health orders.
