Neighborhood: Carnelian Bay - Situated in a quiet forested neighborhood, the home places you within walking distance of a public beach, restaurants, and bars, so you won’t even need to get in the car to enjoy some great activities. A short walk down the road will take you to Waterman’s Landing/Patton Beach where you will find a cute coffee shop, picnic areas, and 2 places where you can rent every type of watercraft imaginable. Or enjoy a sunny day at the beautiful public beach Carnelian West Beach, an excellent swimming spot just a short walk from the home. You will find more entertainment and dining options just down the street from the house such as the famous Garwoods Bar and Grill, a wonderful lakefront dining experience, CB’s Bistro and Pizza for family dinners, Magic Carpet Mini Golf and Arcade for the little ones, and a 7-11 for all of your late-night needs. In the winter months, you are a 15-minute drive to Northstar or a 20-minute drive to Palisades, Tahoe. If Nordic skiing is more your thing, you are less than 10 minutes from the Tahoe City Nordic Center, where you will find a huge network of trails for XC Skiing or snowshoeing. If a little less adventure is what you are looking for, the towns of Tahoe City and Kings Beach are both within a 10-minute drive in either direction. In both places, you will find major grocery stores, golf courses, small boutique shopping, waterfront parks, golf courses, and a wide variety of bars and restaurants. - Bus stop a 3-minute walk from the front door - 2-minute walk to Carnelian West Beach (0.1 miles) - 5-minute walk to Waterman’s Landing and Patton Beach (0.3 miles) - 7-minute drive to Tahoe City Nordic Center (3.6 miles) - 7-minute drive to Kings Beach (3.9 miles) - 11-minute drive to Tahoe City (5.8 miles) - 15-minute drive to Northstar Ski Resort (9.7 miles) - 20-minute drive to Palisades Tahoe

Things you need to know

Guests will have access to the entire home, outdoor areas including a backyard and balcony, and six parking places in the driveway.

Restrictions

  • Minimum night stay requirements vary by home and time of year.
  • Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.
  • Due to short-term rental restrictions and liability reasons, we have to remain firm on the maximum occupancy restrictions. Maximum occupancy is the total number of guests that are allowed at the property at any given time (inclusive of any daytime guests).
  • Please do note that we do not recommend shipping anything to the property as shipping in the mountains can be unreliable, we recommend shipping all packages to the local UPS or FedEx store and requesting it be held for you there. However, if you do decide to ship a package, please note we cannot receive packages before your stay and we are not responsible for any packages that do not arrive. Also, USPS does not service Breckenridge and most of Summit County. Items shipped or mailed via USPS will not arrive.
