The most distinctive aesthetic in the Creekhouse complex. Vaulted ceilings, antique accents, Amish-crafted bunk furniture, local artist works, and Western-inspired decor make this a home that reads as curated rather than staged. It genuinely doesn't feel like a rental — which is the most consistent thing reviewers say about it.
Directly along Mammoth Creek, bordering a protected meadow. The setting is the other standout: meadow views from the master suite, creek access from the property, and a quietude that makes mornings here different than most Mammoth options. This is the property for people who want the mountain experience without being in the thick of town activity.
Wood-burning fireplace — not gas. A real fire in a vaulted-ceiling living room is a different experience, and it's the centerpiece of winter evenings here. Wood is provided.

For all reservations exceeding 14 days, it is required that housekeeping exchange all linens on all beds and all towels within the unit every 14th day of the reservation at the expense of the guest.

Restrictions

Guests & Occupancy

  • The booking guest must be at least 25 years old and is considered the responsible party.
  • Occupancy may not exceed the maximum allowed for the property.
  • The property is for personal vacation use only and must be used as a single-family residence. Guests are responsible for all damages, theft, excessive cleaning, violations, and costs incurred during their stay.
  • Guests may not use the property for unlawful, commercial, or objectionable purposes.

Events & Noise

  • Parties, disruptive gatherings, and activities that disturb neighbors or the surrounding community are prohibited.
  • Complaints from neighbors, management, or law enforcement may result in immediate termination of the reservation, removal from the property, forfeiture of all payments, and a $1,000 penalty.

Prohibited Activities

  • Pets: Dogs are only permitted in designated pet-friendly properties with prior authorization and payment of applicable pet fees. Unauthorized pets may result in penalties of up to $1,000, while unauthorized additional dogs or dogs exceeding approved weight limits may result in fines up to $2,000. Pets may not be left unattended, and excessive pet noise may result in fines, pet removal, or termination of the reservation without refund. Service animals must remain leashed and owners must clean up after them; violations incur a $100 fee per occurrence.
  • Smoking & Vaping: Smoking is prohibited anywhere on the property. Violations may result in a $500 fine plus cleaning costs.
  • Illegal Substances & Unlawful Conduct: Illegal substances, unlawful activities, hazardous substances, and any activity that violates laws or regulations are prohibited. Violations may result in eviction, fines, cleaning charges, restoration costs, and loss of all payments.
  • Internet Misuse: Illegal downloading, unauthorized access to copyrighted materials, or activities that jeopardize internet service are prohibited.
  • Fire Safety: Charcoal grills are prohibited where restricted by local ordinance and may result in penalties if used.

Equipment & Amenities

  • Hot Tub, Pool & Recreational Amenities _(if equipped)_: Use of pools, spas, hot tubs, saunas, bunk beds, dumbwaiters, and similar amenities is at the guest’s sole risk. Children must be supervised at all times around these amenities. Guests are responsible for damage resulting from misuse.
  • Internet Service _(if equipped)_: Internet access is provided as a courtesy and is not guaranteed. Service interruptions, weak signals, or outages do not qualify for refunds, credits, or relocations. Guests requiring reliable connectivity should bring a personal hotspot or backup solution.
  • Restricted Areas & Accessibility: Some properties may require navigating stairs or multiple levels. Accessibility accommodations are not guaranteed, and refunds will not be issued due to accessibility limitations.
  • Equipment Damage: Guests must report and are responsible for damage to property contents, furnishings, amenities, and equipment during their stay. Damage beyond the protection-program limits remains the guest’s responsibility.
  • No Refunds for Malfunctions: Interruptions to internet service, utilities, weather-related impacts, or other amenity issues beyond the owner's control do not qualify for refunds except where specifically required under the rental agreement.

Checkout & Care

  • Check-In & Checkout: Standard check-in begins at 4:00 PM (or 5:00 PM during certain holiday periods) and checkout is 10:00 AM. Early check-in or late checkout may be available upon approval and may incur additional fees.
  • Late Departure: Unauthorized occupancy beyond checkout may result in charges of $100 per hour and, for extended holdovers, up to $2,000 per day plus any costs associated with accommodating incoming guests.
  • Property Condition: Guests must leave the property in substantially the same condition in which it was received. Excessive cleaning, damage repair, theft, or restoration costs will be charged to the guest. Intentional damage or theft may result in additional charges and law enforcement involvement.
  • Keys, Remotes & Parking Passes: Lost or unreturned keys, remotes, or parking passes are charged at $100 per item.

Liability & Disclaimers

  • Not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged money, jewelry, valuables, vehicles, or personal belongings.
  • Guests assume all risks associated with use of the property and any amenities (if equipped), including pools, spas, hot tubs, saunas, bunk beds, dumbwaiters, steep terrain, hillsides, and similar features.
  • Guests are responsible for injuries, damages, claims, liabilities, legal expenses, and losses arising from their actions, negligence, or use of the property.
  • No refunds are provided for weather, road closures, snow conditions, flooding, fires, earthquakes, high winds, power outages, public health events, or similar circumstances, except where specifically outlined in the rental agreement. Travel protection is strongly recommended.
  • Not liable for interruptions to utilities, communications services, internet access, weather-related disruptions, or other conditions outside their control.
  • Property features, accessibility conditions, rates, and availability may change. Reservations booked more than 10 months in advance may be subject to pricing adjustments, with notice provided prior to arrival.
