We stayed here for a weekend with a big group of 24. It was a great experience overall. Everything was as promised and as expected. The Check-in experience was seamless. The host was quick to respond with a few minor questions and provided us a few extra hours late check out which was much appreciated by some of our party. Even though it rained all weekend we loved the covered outdoor porch and the house had a variety of living room/eating areas to hang out in. The house is set up as 3 different properties with some interior electronically locked doors but was easy to combine them into a single with a single unlocking of the doors. The location was good, felt safe, and upscale though was a bit far to walk to several of the spots we wanted to see. Would absolutely stay again.

Things you need to know
The property is on 6 acres and we have outdoor porches, pavilion, wedding areas, and sitting areas.
Wheelchair-accessible room is the Castle Room. There is also a wheelchair ramp to enter the mansion on the west side of the mansion. The Carriage House 1 room is also wheelchair accessible.
There is a separate Retreat House that has 5 bedrooms. Children 8 and older can stay in the Retreat House. We just ask that if you bring children into the historic Mansion they are supervised at all times.
Each room is unique & individually decorated. Each room has individually wrapped soap, shampoo, toilet paper, makeup wipes, plenty of bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths.
Restrictions
- There are two rooms designated for pets in the “Retreat House” which is next to the Mansion. We are not able to accommodate guests’ pets in any of the Mansion rooms or Mansion common areas. If you bring a pet into a room not designated for pets you may be asked to board your pet somewhere or leave the premises. There may also be a minimum charge for an unauthorized pet.
- For the Mansion rooms, we allow children 10 and older that are well-supervised. For the Retreat House rooms, we allow children 8 and older that are closely supervised especially when in the Mansion.
- This is a smoke-free establishment. In accordance with state fire law, there is no smoking or vaping allowed indoors, and the use of candles is not permitted. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available. Please smoke outside away from the house, doorways, or open windows and please pick up any remnants. We reserve the right to charge the credit card on file a minimum fee to cover the cost of deep cleaning and/or replacing upholstered furniture, window treatments, rugs, and bedding if it is determined that a guest has violated the policy and smoked in any location inside the Inn.
- Guests are not allowed to eat and drink in the common areas of the mansion except for the two dining rooms, the kitchen, or the business training center. Please no food or drink in all other indoor common areas. Please no red wine in the bedrooms or in any common areas.
- We are not able to accommodate guest pets in any of the Mansion rooms. There are 2 rooms designated for pets in the “Retreat House” which is next to the Mansion.
- Bachelor or Bachelorette parties are not allowed.
- We are not responsible for items left behind. If we find Items left behind they can be sent to you via mail at your request. The cost of shipping plus a handling charge will be billed to your credit card.
