Neighborhood: Alpine Meadows - Less than a mile from Alpine Meadows Ski Resort. Expert skiers can ski in/out, drive 2 minutes, or use the free shuttle to the slopes. Connect to Palisades Resort via the new Gondola. Enjoy mountain biking, rafting the Truckee River, hiking, swimming, paddling on Lake Tahoe, and horseback riding in summer and fall. The Truckee River is a mile away, and Tahoe City is 7 miles away. - Location perks: Alpine Base Area at Palisades Tahoe (0.7 miles), Palisades Tahoe (6.8 miles), Tahoe City (7.3 miles), Commons Beach (7.6 miles) - Head over to the charming European-style village at Palisades Tahoe, less than 15 minutes away, where you will find a wide variety of restaurants, bars, boutiques, and seasonal festivals. - During the summer months, enjoy a walk or bike ride on the Truckee River bike path, located 8 minutes from the home. With HWY 89 just minutes away, you can easily make day trips to many of the stunning surrounding areas. - Tahoe City is less than a 15-minute drive away, offering many boutique shops, a wide variety of bars and restaurants, farmers' markets, live music, and a big sandy beach with a great park and lakeside walkway.
Parking information
- Parking is available on the property. There is 1 space in the garage for a small-sized SUV, and parking is available in the outdoor parking lot next to the building. - If applicable, Guest may be responsible for the loss of any parking passes/permits in amounts up to $400 per pass/permit.

Cancellation policy

90% Refund: Receive a 90% refund when you cancel your reservation at least 30 days before check-in.
40% Refund: Receive a 40% refund when you cancel your reservation at least 14 days before check-in.
No Refund: Reservations canceled 29 days or less before check-in are not eligible for a refund.
Refunds subject to a 10% processing fee of the total.
Things you need to know
There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the property unless used for amenities outside the property, such as shared hot tub and pool areas. Please return the linens in the Property after use.
Guests will have access to the home and parking garage.
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.
Due to the recent engineering report, all deck systems at the complex are closed to guests until further notice.
Please be reminded not to bring ski equipment or wear shoes inside the home.
Charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in this county and will result in a $1,500 citation if used.
Restrictions
- Minimum night stay requirements vary by home and time of year.
- Smoking is NOT allowed inside the Rental Property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged to guests if smoking inside the Rental Property occurs or evidence is found of smoking inside.
- People other than those included in the Guest Count may not stay in the property. Any other person on Rental Property is the sole responsibility of Guest.
- Excessive noise inside quiet hours are not permitted and will result in eviction and cancellation with no refund.
- Rental Property is privately owned; Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the Rental Property or its facilities.
- The Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest and Rental Party.
- Guest agrees to keep the property and all furnishings in good order and only use appliances for their intended uses.
- Water and Septic: The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper.
- Renter(s) are responsible for themselves, their family, and guests at all times. Children should be supervised at all times.
- If Rental Party exceeds the maximum occupancy Guest will be asked to leave the Rental Property with no refunds. Infants under 2 years are not counted.
- At least one parent or adult must be present at all times when children under the age of 16 are in the Rental Property or using any of the outdoor facilities such as the Hot Tub.
- Owner/Property Manager is not responsible for money, jewelry, or other valuables lost, stolen, or left behind in the Rental Property, but will use their best effort to remedy the situation.
- No rowdy behavior is permitted.
- No subletting of the Rental Property or assigning of this agreement is permitted.
- Please note that we charge per guest after a set number. Please provide the entire group count in your reservation request. If an update to the group count is needed after confirming the reservation, the reservation cost may increase.
- Guest agrees to follow all local, state, and federal level mandates, restrictions, or public health orders.
