I wish I could give our stay 10 stars! The location is near impossible to beat. The house was clean, spacious, and included all the necessities to ensure we had a nice and comfortable stay. We so appreciated the service of the team- they were always prompt to answer our questions and the check-in/check-out process was a breeze. I would rent this house again in a heart beat! Thank you again for making our stay one of the best weekends I can remember.

- There is a lofted single bunk bed in BR 4. This is available for guests to use at your own discretion. No linens are provided for it.
- Due to Extreme Fire Danger – The use of ANY outdoor firepit or fireplace is strictly prohibited at any of our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe from wildfires.
- Boaters must provide their own mooring lines. Tahoe Getaways cannot provide watercraft of any kind; guests must provide their own means of transport from the pier to the buoy. Depending on the water level, the pier may be too shallow to navigate for some boats.
- Internet in the mountains will likely be slow by urban standards.
- No pets of any kind are permitted in or around any of our vacation homes without prior approval.
- Gathering for a group vacation can produce a lot of refuse. Knowing this, we schedule extra trash pickups with the trash company, however, there are times when our staff needs to remove the trash. Here is how you can help us manage the trash and keep the bears from getting into trouble:
- Separate your recycling. Glass, plastic, and aluminum go in the blue recycle bags. Please make sure all of the containers are empty.
- Break down & flatten cardboard boxes
- Don’t over-fill bags, and make sure they are tied tight.
- If you run out of room in your bear box, the blue bags and cardboard can be stored in your garage without attracting animals; at least until the extra scheduled pickup happens. If the extra pickup is more than a day out, call Property Management and we will remove your trash for you.
- For excessive circumstances, Property Management reserves the right to charge $20 per 40-gallon bag. Alternatively, guests can discard excessive trash at the Eastern Regional Landfill public dump; located at 900 Cabin Creek Road, off Hwy 89 (between Truckee and Squaw Valley).
