Neighborhood: Nohea Community - Nestled within the exclusive community on the 3rd hole of the Mauna Lani North Course. - Just a 15-minute stroll from your door, this Mauna Lani location puts you near The Shops at Mauna Lani with grocery, dining, and boutique shopping, the Auberge hotel and its beach and restaurants, and the Sports & Fitness Center (weekly rates apply). - The Mauna Lani Beach Club and Napua Restaurant are just a 25-minute walk away. - The resort is also home to two luxurious hotels, each offering world-class dining and breathtaking beachside settings—perfect for enjoying unforgettable sunsets. - The private Owners Beach Club is just a short stroll or an 8-minute bike ride away, offering the perfect spot for the whole family to spend the day. - Mauna Lani also offers easy access to some of the Big Island's finest golf courses and some of the country’s most beautiful beaches, including Hapuna Beach (voted #1 beach in the USA in 2021) and Mauna Kea Beach. - The resorts were designed to avoid overcrowding the beaches with condo towers and other developments. The gated communities are all set back from the beaches a bit to make sure the beach experience is amazing. From many of the homes, you can walk to the beach in 15 minutes or take a bike ride. - The Kilauea volcano is 90 miles away behind two 13,000-foot mountains and has been very quiet for the last year. Even during the eruption event in 2018, it did not affect our side of the Island. The National Park is open, and it is fascinating to explore, go for a hike, or take an aerial tour. It is part of what makes the Big Island unique and should not be missed. - The Kona (KOA) airport is the closest to the resorts. It is a 25-35 min drive to the vacation rentals. It is an international airport with direct flights from LA, SF, San Diego, Sacramento, Portland, Seattle, Denver, Dallas, Phoenix, San Jose, Oakland, Anchorage, Vancouver, and Tokyo. There are also direct flights to Oahu, Kauai, and Maui.

What a beautiful home! I can't say enough about how beautiful, clean and spacious this home was. It's in a quiet, little pocket of town but there was still much to do around town. Everything was easily accessible, and we used the bikes a few times to take little adventures around town. They also had the garage stocked with beach toys, coolers, tennis equipment, beach chairs, an umbrella, etc.,. The home was so clean, loaded with more kitchen utensils and gadgets than you knew you needed (which is a plus because I find a lot of homes don't have this much), the bathrooms were pristine, the beds and linens were so comfortable, and all the outside furniture was spotless and comfortable as well. We also loved that all the sliding doors in the home open fully to the outside. It was nice leaving those open and getting that fresh Hawaiian air. Overall, this was a great experience, and I would highly recommend booking!

The fourth bedroom features two TwinXL beds that can combine into a King with a topper.

Two additional foldaway twins can be used in the home (best suited for children).

This is a single-level home, no stairs.

For safety reasons, the water features and pool area may not be suitable for families with very young children.

The Mauna Lani Tennis and Fitness Center features reservable tennis and pickleball courts.

Laundry detergent, oxyclean, dryer sheets, dishwasher detergent, jet dry, cling wrap, foil, zip lock bags, assortment of spices, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, popcorn, starter bag of pure Kona Mountain coffee (the good stuff), hand soap, Dove soap bar, high end Float shampoo, shower gel and conditioner, two extra rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, and two paper towel rolls are provided. We have a clean fridge policy, so upon check-in, the fridge does not have any condiments.

Pack 'n Play, high chair, bed rails, toilet-training seat, step stool for little kids, baby monitors, swim belt/vest, kids' kitchen items, full cribs, bike trailers, jogging strollers, and other items are subject to availability.
