Neighborhood: Kulalani - Paradise Found Villa is located within the Mauna Lani Resort, near both the Auberge and Fairmont hotels. It sits in a community overlooking the golf course and is just a short walk to the pool and recreation complex. - The Napua Restaurant is just two miles away. The Kohala coast is a golfer's paradise with seven challenging courses all within seven miles of our villa. - A short drive away are six of the most spectacular beaches in Hawaii, including Beach 69, Hapuna Beach, and the breathtaking Mauna Kea Beach. - Minutes down the street is the Shops at Mauna Lani, where you can find a supermarket, coffee shops, restaurants, clothing and accessory stores, art, and free weekly entertainment in the evenings. There are three wonderful shopping areas in the resorts: Shops at Mauna Lani, King Shops, and Queen's Shops. They include groceries, restaurants, and retail stores. They are within walking or biking distance from most of our vacation homes. - The resorts were designed to avoid overcrowding the beaches with condo towers and other developments. The gated communities are all set back from the beaches a bit to make sure the beach experience is amazing. From many of the homes, you can walk to the beach in 15 minutes or take a bike ride. - The Kilauea volcano is 90 miles away behind two 13,000-foot mountains and has been very quiet for the last year. Even during the eruption event in 2018, it did not affect our side of the Island. The National Park is open, and it is fascinating to explore, go for a hike, or take an aerial tour. It is part of what makes the Big Island unique and should not be missed. - The Kona (KOA) airport is the closest to the resorts. It is a 25-35 min drive to the vacation rentals. It is an international airport with direct flights from LA, SF, San Diego, Sacramento, Portland, Seattle, Denver, Dallas, Phoenix, San Jose, Oakland, Anchorage, Vancouver, and Tokyo. There are also direct flights to Oahu, Kauai, and Maui.

This house was perfect for my family! Loved eating out on the lanai or barbecuing across the street at the pool. The garage was so well stocked with snorkeling and beach gear for everyone, plus bicycles to get around the area. The nearby beach is maybe my favorite place to snorkel and perfect for kids.

Staying at Kulalani at Mauna Lani gives you full access to its Recreation Center with fitness equipment and multiple hot tubs and lap pool, free form pool and kiddie pool.
Laundry detergent, oxyclean, dryer sheets, dishwasher detergent, jet dry, cling wrap, foil, zip lock bags, assortment of spices, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, popcorn, starter bag of pure Kona Mountain coffee (the good stuff), hand soap, Dove soap bar, high end Float shampoo, shower gel and conditioner, two extra rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, and two paper towel rolls are provided. We have a clean fridge policy, so upon check-in, the fridge does not have any condiments.
Pack 'n Play, high chair, bed rails, toilet-training seat, step stool for little kids, baby monitors, swim belt/vest, kids' kitchen items, full cribs, bike trailers, jogging strollers, and other items are subject to availability.
