- Located in Ashe County, NC, “The Coolest Corner of North Carolina”, close to West Jefferson, Boone and Appalachian Mountain. Within a 45 minute to 1 hour drive, you can visit Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain, Banner Elk, ATV tours, Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain to name a few. Literally walking distance to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Mountain-To-Sea trail (MTS), the famous Park Vista restaurant, and Betsy's Overlook. - Within a 30 minute drive, you can visit Boone, Appalachian mountain, Mount Jefferson State Park, the historic town of West Jefferson, Jeffress Park, The Cascades Waterfall, Tomkins Knob, Betsy’s overlook, and scenic The New River for tubing and Kayaking, and The Lump Overlook just to name a few.

Parking information

- There are 3 Arlo cameras facing the driveway and parking lot only. - This home is accessed via a moderately steep gravel driveway that is fairly easy to access. AWD or 4WD vehicles recommended during winter months and potentially chains are required. - No UTV’s or ATV’s allowed.

Thank you very much for this much needed break from "life". This stop means an opportunity to get closer to God (spiritually and physically , spend quality time together, and BREATHE. Your cabin gave us all of that and then some. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin - all of the little details made it so cozy. The peace of the mountains and fresh air are just what we needed. God Bless you for the gifts, but more importantly the peace your cabin brings.

No fireworks are permitted in the community.

All properties are set up for light housekeeping, including linens and towels. We provide a starter set of toilet tissue, paper towels, bath toiletries, dish soap, and trash bags.

Guests will have access to the entire unit and all amenities within.

Restrictions

Minimum night stay requirements vary by home and time of year.
Please be aware that some properties are NOT equipped with air conditioning. KEY is not responsible for weather conditions at the time of tenancy, and there will be no refunds or switching of properties due to lack of air conditioning.
Pet-friendly properties accept pets with prior approval only and are subject to a non-refundable pet fee. It is Tenant’s responsibility to check the advertising and understand the pet restrictions on any given property, which includes the maximum number of pets allowed, and to abide by any weight restrictions.
A 4-wheel drive vehicle and/or chains and the ability to drive on snow and ice are strongly recommended to get to or from any given property. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ARRIVE FULLY PREPARED and there will be NO refunds, allowances, or date changes resulting from your negligence in this matter. Please do not ask.
The person in whose name the property is reserved will be held responsible for all occupants complying with rental policies, procedures, and restrictions. Aside from normal wear and tear, the responsible party will be responsible for reimbursing the Owner for any damages to the property or its contents during your vacation residency.
Evidence of an unauthorized excessive number of guests will result in an immediate charge of $25.00 per person per day to the credit card on file and possibly eviction. Authorization to allow extra people for gatherings or other short-term events must be obtained in writing. Authorization to rent a property for a purpose other than for a family vacation must be obtained in writing prior to finalizing the reservation.
All equipment in the unit should be in working order. Please immediately report any equipment problems to the office. Every effort will be made to rectify the problem, but we cannot refund money due to mechanical failure.
Please be aware that certain communities have strict standards regarding the number of vehicles at a property. Some areas may not allow motorcycles, RVs, or trailers. You must adhere to these regulations at all times during your stay. Such restrictions, if applicable to your rental home, will be posted on the internet listing.
Any locked closets or other locked areas are reserved for the storage of Owners’ private property. They are not included in this rental.
We are not responsible for items left in rental units. In the event that Tenant leaves behind items of utmost importance, we will attempt to retrieve and return items at Tenant’s expense, but such retrieval cannot and will not be guaranteed.
