Neighborhood: Palmetto Dunes - The beach can be accessed by a short five-minute or less drive, fifteen or so minute bike ride, or by calling the Palmetto Dunes Buggy which is a seasonal and on-call shuttle service.
Parking information
- Everyone driving a vehicle within the resort will need a parking pass. Parking passes are limited for each villa and home. Complimentary parking for one to two nights only. - There is one vehicle pass per villa rental and two vehicle passes per house rental included with each reservation, car passes are required to enter the gates of Palmetto Dunes Resort. Depending on the neighborhood/location, there are limitations on how many parking passes can be ordered.

We had a great stay for 6 adults and 3 kids under 3. While the pool was fantastic and the house layout was great, there were a few surprises. The pictures Kayaks and lagoon were off limits, chained shut? The tvs had no cable but required subscriptions and the front and back door latches would not close. You had to use the deadbolt to keep doors closed or locked. The staff did respond to a request for propane and the house was clean and spacious. We would definitely return and the beach shuttles were awesome!

No Refund: Reservations canceled 64 days or less before check-in are not eligible for a refund.

Things you need to know
Bed linens and bath towels are provided. A standard supply of towels consisting of two bath towels, one hand towel, and one washcloth per person (not to exceed maximum occupancy).
Towel bundles and additional linens can be provided for a fee.
Beach chairs and beach towels are not provided.
The community pools are opened seasonally, the dates vary and are subject to change.
The spas and pools can be heated from June through October for an additional fee, the heat add-on is not available November through May.
Restrictions
- Minimum night stay requirements vary by home and time of year.
- Please do not use home or villa linens as beach blankets.
- No motorcycles, motorized scooters/skateboards of any kind are permitted. No RVs, campers, and trailers of any kind are not permitted in gate areas. Off-resort storage arrangements must be made for boats, jet skis, and kayaks. Also, no commercial vehicles with any type of company signage or wrapping are allowed.
- The heat pump that is used in private homes pulls the air from the outside and uses that to heat the pool, it does not generate heat. During the fall, winter, and spring the temperatures usually dip below 50 degrees and essentially make the heater unusable.
- Damage Protection is available with your reservation. Damage protection is nonrefundable and provides coverage for any accidental damage to the property and its contents.
