With Main Street under a mile away and the Elk Ridge shuttle stop close by, Trail Nest is an easy, comfortable winter basecamp for skiers who want to be close to the action. - Slopes – 300 ft (Snowflake Ski Run) - Shuttle – 0.3 mile (Elk Ridge Shuttle Stop) - Main Street – 0.7 mile (South Main Street)
Parking information
- Four spaces total: 2-car garage + 2 outdoor spaces - Parking is never guaranteed and is always “first come, first served”. Please contact us to confirm how many parking spots will be available for your property. Parking is very restricted; however, there are numerous fee-based parking lots throughout the area.
Getting to the property
- Breckenridge and the surrounding areas offer rugged and mountainous terrain. We highly recommend all-wheel-drive vehicles for your own safety. - AWD/4WD vehicle is recommended between November 1st & May 31st.

The rental unit itself was beautiful, recently updated, and equipped with fast Wi-Fi. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, yet it’s just a short distance from the vibrant downtown area. The absolute best part for us was the location—there are numerous hiking trails right outside the door, including a great hike up to the reservoir. For winter rentals, there is also a short path right to Snowflake Trail and down to the ski lift. At night, enjoying the private hot tub under the dark skies offered unforgettable views of the stars. Additionally, our host was incredibly helpful, providing great information, and checked-in during our stay to ensure everything was satisfactory. We highly recommend this spot!

- Air Conditioning: Not available at most properties.
- Pools & Hot Tubs _(if equipped)_: Community amenities may have seasonal closures.
- Hot Tub Temperature _(if equipped)_: Keep below 104°F.
- Hot Tub & Fireplace Risk _(if equipped)_: Use at your own risk; children must be supervised. Guests with relevant medical conditions, pregnancy, or medications should consult a physician before use. Do not use while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Firewood _(if equipped)_: Generally provided where applicable.

Check-out & Care
- Check-In: After 4:00 PM MST; access may be delayed by cleaning or maintenance. Paid early check-in may be offered 48 hours before arrival, if available.
- Check-Out: 10:00 AM MST. Late departure: $500 + $500 per additional hour. Paid late checkout may be offered 48 hours before departure, if available.
- Cleaning: Leave the property reasonably clean; excessive cleaning, including hot tubs _(if equipped)_, incurs additional fees.
- Furniture: Keep furniture in its original location.
- Departure: Start the dishwasher, dispose of trash, lock doors/windows, leave beds unmade and linens on the floor.
- Supplies: Initial household supplies and linens are provided but not replenished.
- Damage: Report damage promptly. Damage beyond normal wear is charged to the card on file.
