Neighborhood: Fairways at Mauna Lani - You can also take advantage of the clean private beach club staffed with lifeguards and the Napua Restaurant just two miles away. - A short drive away are six (6) of the most spectacular beaches in Hawaii including Beach 69, Hapuna beach and the breath-taking Mauna Kea beach. - The Kohala coast is a golfer's paradise with seven (7) challenging courses all within 7 miles of our villa. - Minutes down the street is the Shops at Mauna Lani where you can find supermarket, coffee shops, restaurants, clothing and accessory stores, art, and free weekly entertainment in the evenings. - A short walk or bike ride from Secret Tropical Hideaway is the Fairmont Orchid Hotel, Auberge Hotel, and the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel and Bungalows.

The Hono Loa condo at the Fairways was exactly the home away from home I hoped for when booking. We booked the condo for our family of four, including a 3 year old and 1 year old, while other family members stayed at the nearby Fairmont. Highly recommend renting a golf cart to get around (Jeff and Suzanne provided rental recommendations). The condo and rental experience was fantastic. Clear instructions were provided, along with great recommendations for activities. The hosts were communicative over email and texting, and everything worked as noted (e.g., key pads, location of pool keys, AC, TV). I appreciated the perfectly stocked, but organized/not cluttered, household amenities! Everything was so clean and thoughtful. My kids LOVED the water guns and pool noodles! We grilled and cooked, did loads of laundry, did evening dips in the nearby community hot tub, and visited the Mauna Lani beach club (access included with our booking)! We will definitely stay here again!
