KEY Curation Notes

On the 11th hole of the Makai Course. The home sits on the Princeville Makai Golf Course, with fairway and distant ocean views from the upper level. Princeville Center’s shops and restaurants are about a ten-minute walk, and Hanalei is ten minutes by car.

An upstairs penthouse suite. The entire second floor is one private bedroom suite with its own lanai, and the primary bath includes a water and steam spa. The other three bedrooms are on the ground floor, two of them on the smaller side.

A kitchen made for cooks. Expect an oversized Jenn-Air fridge and freezer, a plate warmer, a Fisher & Paykel dual-drawer dishwasher, and hands-free faucets, plus a large gas grill on the lanai. A game room with a pool table gives the group a second gathering spot.

Plunge pool and hot tub. The mosaic-tiled pool is a compact soak-and-dip pool set beside a hot tub, built for cooling off rather than swimming laps. Bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs, and a kayak are on hand for days out.

Fans over central air. Cooling relies on ceiling fans, large windows that catch the trade winds, and window units rather than central air.

Within just a few minutes' drive, you can be kayaking the Hanalei River or, seasonally, hiking trails along Na Pali, horseback riding to waterfalls and deep-sea fishing. Look out at the ocean for sea turtles, frolicking dolphins and humpback whales (in winter months). - The shops and restaurants of Princeville Center are just minutes from the house. It's just a ten-minute drive to the charming town of Hanalei and one of the world's best beaches.
