A farm-style dining table comfortably seats eight, perfect for memorable meals. The recently remodeled galley kitchen, open to the living and dining areas, makes entertaining a delight. The main floor master bedroom, featuring a King bed, private balcony, and full bath with a glass-enclosed garden spa tub, offers a sanctuary within the home. An additional guest room on the main floor with a King bed and a full bath with roll-in shower ensures comfort for all guests. Designed with accessibility in mind, the main floor caters to special needs with wider doors, a lower tub with grab bars in the guest bath, and a level entry with just one step up to the front door. The outdoor pavilion, completed in 2011, offers covered parking for snowy days and a charming gathering and grilling area for family and friends. Larger groups can enjoy the convenience of renting nearby resort properties, keeping everyone close yet allowing for privacy. Whether visiting in summer or winter, access to this home may require chains or 4-wheel drive vehicles, and we are here to help you find the best fit for your needs. KEY Curation Notes

Grandfather Mountain views, floor-to-ceiling. The great room is built around a wall of windows and vaulted ceilings that frame a direct sightline to Grandfather Mountain. The stone wood-burning fireplace anchors the space, and the wrap-around deck extends the views outside.

Four sleeping areas across two levels. The main floor holds two King bedrooms — the master has a private balcony and a glass-enclosed soaking tub. Upstairs are two Queen rooms and a loft with a Queen sleeper sofa. Three full baths serve the house.

Resort amenity access comes with a per-person fee. Yonahlossee Resort's indoor heated pool, fitness center, and game room are available to guests at $10/person/day ($25/day for groups of four or more). Tennis and pickleball courts carry an additional charge on top of that.

Firewood is not stocked — order in advance. The stone fireplace is a centerpiece of the home, but firewood must be purchased separately ($25/night for two bundles and a firestarter). Pre-order at least one week before arrival.

Starter supplies only. The home is stocked with enough paper products and soap for roughly one to two nights. Plan to bring or order what you need for a longer stay — KEY.co can coordinate grocery delivery before your arrival.

4WD or AWD is required in winter, and recommended year-round. The mountain road to this property is not suitable for rear-wheel-drive vehicles or low-clearance cars at any time of year. Chains may also be needed during snow.

We stayed here 2 years ago. It was so perfect for us, we came back. Im from NC, Piedmont area. But live in Florida, so we come up as often as we can. We came up on our spring break for the grands. We want to come back this summer. We need the 2 bedrooms downstairs, so this is great for us. We love it here!!!!

Age requirements: Primary guest must be at least 25 years old and must remain on-site for the full stay.
Maximum occupancy: Occupancy limits (including children) must not be exceeded at any time.
Guest accountability: The booking guest is responsible for all occupants, compliance with rules, and any damages beyond normal wear and tear.
Unauthorized guests: $25 per person per day for exceeding occupancy; may result in immediate removal.
Approved use of property: Use is limited to vacation purposes unless prior written approval is obtained. Subletting or assignment is not permitted without written approval.

Prohibited Activities

Pets: Allowed only in designated homes with prior approval and a non-refundable pet fee. Unauthorized pets: $200 fee + $500 cleaning fee; may require removal or termination without refund. Pets must meet all listing restrictions and be pre-treated for pests.
Smoking/vaping: Strictly prohibited indoors; $300 smoke remediation fee.
Illegal activities: Any violation of laws or regulations is prohibited and may result in termination of stay.
Fireworks & firearms: Strictly prohibited at all times.
Fire/fireplace misuse: No burning wood in gas fireplaces. No roasting food in fireplaces. Unauthorized outdoor fires prohibited (fees apply).
EV charging: Prohibited unless specifically approved; $500 fine.

Equipment & Amenities

Seasonal requirements: (if applicable) 4WD/AWD and/or tire chains strongly recommended November–April; no refunds for lack of preparation.
Hot tubs _(if equipped)_: Use at your own risk; not suitable for individuals with infections or open wounds. Must follow all sanitation and usage rules (no additives, glass, or tampering). $500 fee for cover damage; additional fees for misuse or extra cleaning.
HVAC & utilities: Some homes may not have air conditioning; no refunds due to weather or lack of AC.
Internet/TV/phone: No refunds for outages or service issues. Pay-per-view is prohibited; charges will be billed if used. Long-distance calls must not be billed to the home.
Appliances & equipment: No refunds for malfunctions (TV, hot tub, appliances, etc.).
Equipment reporting: Issues must be reported promptly; repairs will be attempted but are not guaranteed.
Parking rules: Vehicle limits apply; some areas restrict motorcycles, RVs, or trailers. No roadside parking if prohibited.
Restricted areas: Locked closets/areas are off-limits.
Firewood: Available for purchase ($25/day) with 7-day advance notice.
