Neighborhood: Mauna Lani Resort - Heavenly Days is within the Mauna Lani resort, close to both Auberge and the Fairmont Orchid Hotels. Situated on one of the most desirable lots in KaMilo, this home is surrounded by the golf course and framed by majestic mountain vistas with a peek of the ocean. A short drive away are six of the most spectacular beaches in Hawaii, including Beach 69, Hapuna beach and the breathtaking Mauna Kea Beach. - The Kohala coast is a golfer's paradise with seven challenging courses all within seven miles of our villa. - Minutes down the street is the Shops at Mauna Lani where you can find supermarket, coffee shops, restaurants, clothing and accessory stores, art, and free weekly entertainment in the evenings. There are three wonderful shopping areas in the resorts: Shops at Mauna Lani, King Shops and Queens Shops. They include groceries, restaurants and retail stores. They are within walking or biking distance from most of our vacation homes. - The resorts were designed to avoid overcrowding the beaches with condo towers and other developments. The gated communities are all set back from the beaches a bit to make sure the beach experience is amazing. From many of the homes you can walk to a beach in 15 minutes or bike ride. - The Kilauea volcano is 90 miles away behind two 13,000 foot mountains and has been very quiet for the last year. Even during the eruption event in 2018 it did not affect our side of the Island. The National Park is open and it is fascinating to explore, go for a hike or take an aerial tour. It is part of what makes the Big Island unique and should not be missed. - The Kona (KOA) airport is the closest to the resorts. It is a 25-35 min drive to the vacation rentals. It is an international airport with direct flights from LA, SF, San Diego, Sacramento, Portland, Seattle, Denver, Dallas, Phoenix, San Jose, Oakland, Anchorage, Vancouver and Tokyo. There are also direct flights to Oahu, Kauai, and Maui.

This home was such a dream. we knew it would be beautiful but the pictures really don't do it justice. It feels so luxurious and private. the amenities are wonderful, the beaches are amazing. any time we had a question, Jeff & Suzanne were quick to respond and helpful. If you are on the fence, book it! you'll be so happy you did. we are already daydreaming about when we can go back

County Law requires alarms on all ground-level sliding doors that lead to the pool area, in order to prevent doors from being left open indefinitely.
Staying in KaMilo gives you full access to its Recreation Center with fitness equipment and multiple hot tubs and lap pool, freeform pool and kiddie pool. You can also take advantage of the clean private beach club staffed with lifeguards and the Napua Restaurant just two miles away. Excellent snorkeling in calm waters!
Laundry detergent, oxyclean, dryer sheets, dishwasher detergent, jet dry, cling wrap, foil, zip lock bags, assortment of spices, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, popcorn, starter bag of pure Kona Mountain coffee (the good stuff), hand soap, Dove soap bar, high end Float shampoo, shower gel and conditioner, two extra rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, and two paper towel rolls are provided. We have a clean fridge policy so upon check in the fridge does not have any condiments.
Pack and play, high chair, bedrails, toilet training seat, step stool for little kids, baby monitors, swim belt/vest, kids kitchen items, full cribs, bike trailers, jogging strollers and other items are subject to availability.

- Extra-person charges may apply and vary based on the number of guests allowed.

- Homes are located within HOA-governed communities. Guests are responsible for complying with community-specific association rules as outlined in the Home Use Agreement.
