KEY Curation Notes

Panoramic views spanning three states — Tennessee to the west, Virginia to the north, North Carolina to the east. At 4,700' elevation in the MontEagle gated community, the sightlines here are a genuine differentiator.
The outdoor deck is where this cabin earns its reputation. The first-floor deck functions as a full outdoor living room: stone fireplace, hot tub, live-edge bar tops, lounge seating, and a grill — all oriented toward the view. Both indoor and outdoor fireplaces are called out across multiple reviews.
Master suite is designed around the view. Located on the second floor, it features a spa bathroom with a dual rain shower and a soaking tub positioned to look directly out at the High Country. Reviewers single out the upstairs bathroom as a highlight.
Three bedrooms sleep up to 8. Main level has a queen bedroom and a bunk room — the bunk room includes an arcade machine, making it a self-contained kids' space. Shared full bath serves both. The king master suite occupies the entire second floor.
Fully stocked kitchen with granite island — well-reviewed for cookware and supplies. Keurig on-site; starter paper products cover the first night or two. KEY.co can arrange grocery delivery before arrival if you'd rather not stop on the way in.
About 10 minutes from downtown Banner Elk. Beech Mountain is roughly 10 minutes out; Sugar Mountain and the Banner Elk Winery are similarly close. MontEagle is a newer, developing community — construction noise is possible Monday through Saturday, 7am–7pm.
AWD or 4WD required in snow or ice. Roads into MontEagle are paved but mountain conditions apply. Not pet-friendly.

MontEagle is an up and coming community with several lots new homes being built. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.

The property is set up for light housekeeping, including linens and towels. We provide a STARTER SET of toilet tissue, paper towels, bath toiletries, dish soap, and trash bags. This is enough for one or two nights, but if you are staying for an extended length of time, you should plan to bring some supplies from home or plan to purchase these items at a grocery store when you arrive.

We provide one towel and washcloth per person that each respective house accommodates, plus a few extra towels if there is a hot tub. The beds are made up with clean linens (except bunks, sleepers, and futons, but linens are provided on site). If you routinely use two towels after bathing, you may need to bring some of your own.

This home comes equipped with a basic set of cookware, sufficient plates & silverware for the occupancy of the home, and basic serving and baking dishes. Most homes do not have unusual items such as crockpots or blenders, so if you’re planning a dish that requires an unusual item, it is best to bring that from your home.

This home is not stocked with cooking oils or spices, hairdryers, condiments, coffee, coffee filters, or food storage items, including plastic wrap or foil.
