KEY Curation Notes

Golf course and mountain views from the backyard. The expansive, tree-shaded lot overlooks the 27-hole public Starfire Golf Club, with the McDowell Mountains beyond. The private pool has optional heating at $75 per night, and a covered patio and gas grill sit alongside it. There is no hot tub.

Game room doubles as the fifth sleeping space. The rustic game room has a pool table, a blackjack table, a wood-burning fireplace, and a large TV. The fifth "bedroom" is a king bed set in the corner of this room rather than a standalone space, which matters if your group plans late nights around the tables.

Sleeping setup. The king primary suite has a walk-in closet and an en-suite bath with dual vanities. A second bedroom has a king, and two rooms each have extended-length twins, which suit tall kids or adults. A queen futon occupies a small room that also houses the laundry. The hall bath has dual sinks and a tub-shower, and the third bath has a walk-in shower with a door straight to the pool.

Kitchen built for group dinners. The kitchen has stainless appliances, generous granite counters, and island seating, and it opens to a formal dining room that seats eight. Both Keurig and drip coffee makers are on hand. Every bedroom has a TV and ceiling fan, and all TVs are streaming-only.

Central location with a busy-road trade-off. Old Town Scottsdale is about 10 minutes away, and several spring training ballparks are within easy reach for February and March trips. The home fronts a busy boulevard, so expect traffic noise when you're outside. There's no garage, but a shade sail covers parking for four vehicles.

The safe and charming neighborhood is located on a busy thoroughfare and traffic noise is possible when guests are outside. Situated on an expansive yard with mature trees and a panoramic view of the McDowell Mountains plus views of the 27-hole public Starfire Golf Course. The neighborhood is a 10-minute drive to chic and utterly charming Old Town Scottsdale which offers exciting multicultural activities year-round. Spring training for the San Francisco Giants, Colorado Rockies, AZ Diamondbacks and Chicago Cubs, hiking at Camelback, shopping at Fashion Square and exploring the Phoenix Zoo, Desert Botanical Gardens or Taliesin West are just a few of the notable possibilities in the area. Other exciting choices include day spas, numerous public golf courses and eateries, car shows, equestrian events and the many impressive natural attractions unique to the Sonoran Desert.

The house was impeccably clean and spacious for the 7 of us. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. We enjoyed the game room and hung out there most of the nights. Paul, our vacation rental rep, was always super quick to respond when we had questions. Would definitely return.
