Our week-long stay at Les Jalousies was more than we could have hoped - A little slice of heaven! We\'ve never stayed somewhere that was better than the advertised pictures! Each member of our family of five quickly found their personal favorites - as far as things to do: Swimming, shell hunting, hermit crabs, starfish sightings, dock jumping, kayaking, sunbathing, hammock lying, and movie watching all topped our list. We saw the biggest hermit crab trying to get inside one night, a nurse shark patrolling the shallows, too many starfish to count, huge schools of tiny fish and larger fish eating them, and little yellow stripey fish - The covered dock was lovely. We watched the sun sets and saw a full (red) moon rise while eating ice cream! The memories will be with us forever. What a gift this time away has been to our family. The Minera staff was so kind and attentive and there were so many beautiful surprises if you explore the grounds - PARADISE - Thank You!

Things you need to know

Upon arrival, your on-island property manager will meet and greet you to answer any questions you may have about the area and provide a tour of the villa. Your property manager can also arrange additional housekeeping services should you require it. A caretaker comes included with the villa to maintain the property grounds raking the beach in the mornings and tidying the pool deck and outdoor grilling station. Grocery delivery can be ordered in advance of your arrival with pre-stocking handled by the caretaker free of charge.

Infants less than 6 months old sleeping in cribs are permitted.

Weekday, non-holiday light housekeeping provided

Silver Thatch Watersports can collect guests off the dock for private snorkel and dive charters.

Two complimentary Silver Thatch tandem kayaks are provided for guest use.

The shoreline quality behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website due to shifting tides and weather patterns. The next-door beach is also always available for your use.
Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally.
Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency over the years during the summer. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked prior to your arrival.
Should sargassum weed be extremely heavy behind your property, we will reach out to the owner for alternative solutions which may include a partial refund or relocation.
