KEY Curation Notes

A 6-seat golf cart is included, which is the practical way to reach the beach from Prominence. The nearest public access points (Deer Lake State Park and adjacent public accesses) require a drive or ride — this is not a walkable-to-beach property.
Beach access has a known variable. Deer Lake State Park beach access — the closest and most convenient option for Prominence — has been closed at times due to park conditions. Confirm current access status before you arrive.
Directly across from the pool and the Big Chill, this townhome's position within Prominence is about as central as it gets. Two resort-style community pools (one with zero-entry), a 25-ft outdoor LED screen, live music, restaurants, and boutique shops are a short walk from the front door.
Four bikes are included for navigating the 17-mile trail system connecting Prominence to Seagrove, Seaside, Alys, and Rosemary Beach.
Complimentary daily golf at one of four nearby courses is included through Xplorie year-round.
The community pool is heated seasonally — timing is set by the HOA and subject to change without notice. No refunds are offered if heating schedules shift during your stay.
Parking is strictly limited to 2 spots with no street parking permitted anywhere in the neighborhood per HOA rules. Groups arriving in more than two vehicles will need to plan ahead.
Starter supplies are minimal. Property provides just enough for arrival — one roll each of paper towels and toilet paper per bath, basic hotel-style toiletries that are not restocked. A grocery run on arrival day is essential; the nearest store is 5 miles away. KEY.co can have your essentials delivered before you check in.

I have visited this lovely rental a couple times now, and it has always been a welcome retreat to the hustle and bustle of everyday life! My heart is at peace when I’m there. There are many convenient amenities nearby (including the Hub, public beach access, restaurants, and biking paths). The home is always clean and welcoming. The owners have thought of everything to ensure the stay is nothing short of “haven-ly.”

Restrictions

  • Minimum night stay requirements vary by home and time of year.
  • Re-arrangement of existing furniture is prohibited and may cause for additional fees charged to your credit card.
  • Pet or any evidence of a pet found on the property, that was not previously disclosed by charging you the pet fee, is cause for eviction and forfeiture of rent in addition to additional cleaning charges of $500. This is strictly enforced.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in any of our rental homes and condo units, including balconies and porches. Violation of this policy is cause for eviction and forfeiture of rent. Additional cleaning charges of $500 will be charged if in violation.
  • Use of barbecue grills is not permitted in any apartment or condo property. Many condominium complexes have community barbeques located on the premises. It is a violation of the fire code to do so and can result in eviction.
  • Only guests registered with KEY may occupy the rented property. No other guests are permitted inside or to stay overnight without prior written permission. The number of occupants cannot be more than the state amount as mentioned in the reservation confirmation.
  • KEY is not responsible for any personal belongings of the vacationer or their party.
  • There are no refunds for inconveniences beyond our control including but not limited to air conditioning, power, cable, internet/wi-fi, elevator, pools, hot tubs or construction projects. No refunds or credits will be made to guests for weather-related issues or closures, including hurricanes and/or mandatory evacuations.
  • WI-FI Internet is available and will accommodate an average of 3 devices per unit. Because individual device settings may not be compatible with the internet service settings in the property, we cannot guarantee the reliability or connectivity of internet service. Limited tech support.
  • The maximum number of guests per home is limited to the actual sleeping capacity for that home or condo unit. Children under 3 years of age do not apply. For your comfort, bunk beds and sofa beds are not recommended for adults.
