Neighborhood: Ainamalu - A short drive away are a dozen of the most spectacular beaches in Hawaii, including Beach 69, Hapuna beach and the breathtaking Mauna Kea Beach. - The Kohala coast is a golfer's paradise with seven challenging courses all within seven miles of our villa. - Minutes down the street is the Shops at Mauna Lani, where you can find a supermarket, coffee shops, restaurants, clothing and accessory stores, art, and free weekly entertainment in the evenings. There are three wonderful shopping areas in the resorts: Shops at Mauna Lani, King Shops, and Queen's Shops. They include groceries, restaurants, and retail stores. They are within walking or biking distance from most of our vacation homes. - The resorts were designed to avoid overcrowding the beaches with condo towers and other developments. The gated communities are all set back from the beaches a bit to make sure the beach experience is amazing. From many of the homes, you can walk to the beach in 15 minutes or take a bike ride. - The Kilauea volcano is 90 miles away behind two 13,000-foot mountains and has been very quiet for the last year. Even during the eruption event in 2018, it did not affect our side of the Island. The National Park is open, and it is fascinating to explore, go for a hike, or take an aerial tour. It is part of what makes the Big Island unique and should not be missed. - The Kona (KOA) airport is the closest to the resorts. It is a 25-35 min drive to the vacation rentals. It is an international airport with direct flights from LA, SF, San Diego, Sacramento, Portland, Seattle, Denver, Dallas, Phoenix, San Jose, Oakland, Anchorage, Vancouver, and Tokyo. There are also direct flights to Oahu, Kauai, and Maui.

Peaceful Paradise was the perfect home for our party of 6 adults and 1 infant for a 9-night stay. The house is situated in a quiet and safe neighborhood in a great location accessible to beaches, Kona airport, restaurants/shops in Waikoloa Village, and many area sites. The house is spacious and tastefully furnished with comfortable beds for a restful night, including baby items (pack n play, high chair, and monitor), well equipped kitchen, full set of beach gear, bikes, fantastic private pool & spa, covered lanai, and an outdoor retreat to enjoy daily beautiful sunrise/sunset views! The host team provide good communication throughout our stay, in particular they were responsive to our questions and provided prompt attention with some unexpected issues. We highly recommend Peaceful Paradise and hope to return in the near future.

The two TwinXL beds in the third bedroom can be combined as a King with a gel topper.
This is a single-level home, no stairs.
Laundry detergent, oxyclean, dryer sheets, dishwasher detergent, jet dry, cling wrap, foil, zip lock bags, assortment of spices, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, popcorn, starter bag of pure Kona Mountain coffee (the good stuff), hand soap, Dove soap bar, high end Float shampoo, shower gel and conditioner, two extra rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, and two paper towel rolls are provided. We have a clean fridge policy, so upon check-in, the fridge does not have any condiments.
Pack 'n Play, high chair, bed rails, toilet-training seat, step stool for little kids, baby monitors, swim belt/vest, kids' kitchen items, full cribs, bike trailers, jogging strollers, and other items are subject to availability.

- Extra-person charges may apply and vary based on the number of guests allowed.

- Homes are located within HOA-governed communities. Guests are responsible for complying with community-specific association rules as outlined in the Home Use Agreement.
