Neighborhood: Mauna Lani Point - Located in the prestigious Mauna Lani Point, the home overlooks the world-renowned Mauna Lani South course, a large water feature, and Hualalai Mountain. From the living room, dining room or lanai, watch the golfers on one of the most famous courses in Hawaii. Ocean Point is within the Mauna Lani resort, close to both Auberge and the Fairmont Orchid Hotels. The home is a short walk down to the ocean and to the Mauna Lani Private Beach Club. - Located in the prestigious Mauna Lani Point, this is one of the few complexes where you can easily walk to the Mauna Lani Private Beach Club. The beach club offers chairs, cabanas, sheltered waters for snorkeling and paddle-boarding, as well as Napua Restaurant and Bar for lunch or dinner. Ocean Point is also a short walk to the private Heated Pool complex, which has a beautiful surrounding garden. A short walk away is the famous 49 Black Sand Beach. - A short drive away are six of the most spectacular beaches in Hawaii, including Beach 69, Hapuna beach and the breathtaking Mauna Kea Beach. The Kohala coast is a golfer's paradise with seven challenging courses all within seven miles of our villa. - Minutes down the street is the Shops at Mauna Lani where you can find supermarket, coffee shops, restaurants, clothing and accessory stores, art, and free weekly entertainment in the evenings. There are three wonderful shopping areas in the resorts: Shops at Mauna Lani, King Shops and Queens’ Shops. They include groceries, restaurants, and retail stores. They are within walking or biking distance from most of our vacation homes. - The resorts were designed to avoid overcrowding the beaches with condo towers and other developments. The gated communities are all set back from the beaches a bit to make sure the beach experience is amazing. From many of the homes, you can walk to a beach in 15 minutes or bike ride. - The Kilauea volcano is 90 miles away behind two 13,000-foot mountains and has been very quiet for the last year. Even during the eruption event in 2018 it did not affect our side of the Island. The National Park is open, and it is fascinating to explore, go for a hike, or take an aerial tour. It is part of what makes the Big Island unique and should not be missed. - The Kona (KOA) airport is the closest to the resorts. It is a 25-35 min drive to the vacation rentals. It is an international airport with direct flights from LA, SF, San Diego, Sacramento, Portland, Seattle, Denver, Dallas, Phoenix, San Jose, Oakland, Anchorage, Vancouver and Tokyo. There are also direct flights to Oahu, Kauai, and Maui.

Amazing, beautiful home and location. Perfect for families with toddlers. Access to the beach club with calm waters makes it perfect when you're needing to juggle family fun and nap times. The home comes with everything you need to simply enjoy your time - beach equipment, kitchen with tools and dishes, coordination for baby needs like cribs, and even access to a nearby pool for the less saltwater-inclined. Getting to sightsee is a quick jump to the main road - it's the Big Island, so a vehicle is required (no matter where you stay).

Staying in Mauna Lani Point gives you full access to its private heated pool and spa hot tub. You can also take advantage of the clean private beach club staffed with lifeguards and the Napua Restaurant, just two miles away. Excellent snorkelling in calm waters!
Laundry detergent, oxyclean, dryer sheets, dishwasher detergent, jet dry, cling wrap, foil, zip lock bags, assortment of spices, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, popcorn, starter bag of pure Kona Mountain coffee (the good stuff), hand soap, Dove soap bar, high end Float shampoo, shower gel and conditioner, two extra rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, and two paper towel rolls are provided. We have a clean fridge policy, so upon check-in, the fridge does not have any condiments.
Pack and play, high chair, bedrails, toilet training seat, step stool for little kids, baby monitors, swim belt/vest, kids' kitchen items, full cribs, bike trailers, jogging strollers and other items are subject to availability.
