Neighborhood: Wild Dunes - Your family will enjoy its 1,600 acres, two famous golf courses, miles of bike and walking trails, a day spa, 2 ½ miles of beach, as well as many different dining options! Best yet, Wild Dunes is only 30 minutes from Historic Charleston, 20 minutes from fresh seafood at the many restaurants on Shem Creek where the Charleston fish and shrimp fleet ports, and 15 minutes away from shopping in Mt. Pleasant. - Just off the coast of Historic Charleston, Isle of Palms offers a stunning six-mile stretch of white, sandy beaches. Spend the day chartering a boat and paddleboarding in the Atlantic, or explore the extensive wildlife within the area's marshes and creeks. Isle of Palms is also the perfect place to decompress, with renowned spas, charming restaurants, and sweeping golf courses.
Parking information
- Parking for two cars. - Trailers and motorcycles are not allowed inside Wild Dunes. - To gain access to Wild Dunes, the guest will need a car pass. Passes will be emailed to the guest before their arrival.

95% Refund: Receive a 95% refund when you cancel your reservation at least 60 days before check-in.
45% Refund: Receive a 45% refund when you cancel your reservation at least 21 days before check-in.
No Refund: Reservations canceled 59 days or less before check-in are not eligible for a refund.
Refunds subject to a 5% processing fee of the total.
Things you need to know
Linens and bath towels are provided, as well as starter supplies including soap, shampoo and paper products.
Guests must supply their own beach/pool towels.
The Seascape pool is open seasonally between May - Sept and is not heated.
Any other amenities or recreation at Wild Dunes, including golf, tennis or the spa, must be booked separately.
All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit to be charged after booking.
Restrictions
Guests & Occupancy
- Primary renter must meet the minimum age required (_varies by property_).
- Guest count may not exceed the number listed on the reservation.
- Primary Guest is responsible for all registered guests and their behavior.
- No unregistered overnight guests. Exceeding occupancy results in a $500 fee per additional person, possible eviction, and forfeiture of all payments.
- Vacation rental use only. No subletting, assignment, or commercial use.
Events & Noise
- No parties, events, or gatherings unless pre-approved in writing and a separate event agreement is signed.
- Unapproved events may result in immediate eviction, forfeiture of all payments, and liquidated damages equal to AvantStay’s event fee.
- Outdoor noise must remain under 60 dBA at all times and is not permitted after 9:00 PM.
Prohibited Activities
- No smoking anywhere on the property. Additional cleaning and damage fees apply.
- No illegal drugs or unlawful activity of any kind.
- No fireworks, flammable, or hazardous materials without approval. Violation results in $500 fine and immediate eviction.
- No firearms, weapons, or violent behavior permitted.
- Fireplaces are not for guest use.
Equipment & Amenities
- Thermostat may not be set below 72°F.
- Pools, Hot Tubs & Water Features (_if equipped_): No diving, no glass, no intoxicated use, no unsupervised children. Use at your own risk; no lifeguard on duty.
- Bicycles (_if equipped_): Use at your own risk. Guest assumes liability for injury, loss, or damage.
- Report issues promptly. No refunds for appliance, internet, utility, or system failures.
- Do not exceed the allowed number of vehicles. Follow all local and HOA parking rules. Guest is responsible for fines.
- Do not access locked or restricted areas or neighboring properties.
- Beach chairs/toys are not included at this property.
Checkout & Care
- Departure cleaning includes up to 3 hours. Excessive mess incurs additional fees.
- Trash must be bagged and placed in bins (or inside garage if bins are full).
- Do not move furniture or make alterations. Guest is responsible for damage beyond normal wear.
- All keys and access devices must be returned at checkout.
- Unauthorized late checkout is charged one full additional night at the current rate.
Liability & Disclaimers
- Management is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings or vehicles.
- Guests assume all risk for pools, hot tubs, docks, bicycles, and amenities.
- Please note that early check-in (ECI) and late check-out (LCO) services are not available from May to September.
- Due to the ongoing beach renourishment, the Seascape beach access is currently closed for guest safety. There is an access path at Summer Dunes Lane, turn left from the Seascape entrance onto Palmetto Drive and Summer Dunes Lane is .1 miles down on the left. We are eagerly awaiting an update on when the beach access will reopen. Please give our local office a call if you have any questions!
