KEY Curation Notes

True ski-in/ski-out in Saddle Ridge, Moonlight Basin, with Iron Horse Lift identified as the primary access point and Pony Express as secondary — both connect directly to Big Sky Resort's combined terrain. The vacation rental platform location data shows Pony Express at a 5-minute walk and Iron Horse at 16 minutes, so expect the actual ski-out route rather than a walk to be the primary way to reach the Iron Horse.
Sweeping valley views from multiple levels, with a main-level dining balcony for grilling and a separate lower-level deck that's private to the queen bedroom with the hot tub. Two distinct outdoor spaces — the grill setup is separate from the hot tub, which is a practical detail for groups.
Three bedrooms sleeping eight across three levels: a king primary suite on the upper level with en-suite and daybed, a queen bedroom on the lower level with private hot tub deck access, and a twin-over-full bunk room also on the lower level. The bunk room and queen share one bathroom; the primary has its own.

Getting to the property

Montana is Big Sky Country and the best way to explore all its beauty is to have your own car. We highly recommend a 4WD vehicle in the winter and guests of Big Sky & Whitefish do have several shuttle options if your preference is not to drive. Make sure to reserve your rental car early.

The communication was top notch. This condo is in pristine condition. It felt like we were the first to be so lucky to stay in it. The decor beautiful! All the beds are so comfortable! The kitchen wear was stocked and even had extras; wine decanter and a pineapple corer just incase! All your needs covered and then some. Hot tub perfect and uncomplicated. Location an easy walk to board in & out. Overall a 10/10 recommend! It was perfect for our party of 6. Would rent again without hesitation.

Things you need to know

Please note that most homes in Montana do not have air conditioning. We encourage guests to open the windows at night to enjoy cooler evening temperatures and close them during the day (including curtains/blinds) to keep the cool air in. For your safety, please only open windows when you are present in the property. Additionally, most homes will have fans located in the bedroom closets.

Guests & Occupancy

  • Primary Guest must be 18+, must match the credit card holder, and must stay at the property for the duration of the reservation. Reservations for unaccompanied minors are prohibited and will result in eviction with forfeiture of all charges.
  • Occupancy must not exceed the number stated on the reservation; no exceptions.
  • Primary Guest is responsible for all occupants and invitees, including damages, violations, and charges.
  • Additional unapproved guests may result in extra per-person charges, fines, or eviction without refund.
  • Residential use only. No parties or gatherings unless pre-approved in writing. Violations may result in eviction and additional charges.
  • Property must be used lawfully and with care; misuse of appliances or systems resulting in damage will be charged.

  • Smoking/vaping: Strictly prohibited. Evidence of smoking results in a $1,000 cleaning fee. No incense or oil lamps.
  • Illegal activity: Strictly prohibited; may result in eviction without refund and additional charges.
  • Fire hazards: No candles (except approved outdoor/emergency use).
  • Vehicles: No RVs, trailers, or campers. No vehicle repairs on-site.
  • Other restrictions: Violations of the agreement may result in fees up to 3× the daily rental rate and/or eviction.
