Neighborhood: Mauna Lani Resort - Sea to Sky, is within the Mauna Lani resort, close to both Auberge and Fairmont Hotels. A short drive away are six (6) of the most spectacular beaches in Hawaii, including Beach 69, Hapuna beach and the breathtaking Mauna Kea Beach. - The Kohala coast is a golfer's paradise with seven (7) challenging courses all within 7 miles of our villa. - A short walk from the home are the Shops at Mauna Lani, where you can find super-market, coffee shops, restaurants, clothing and accessory stores, art, and free weekly entertainment in the evenings. There are three wonderful shopping areas in the resorts: Shops at Mauna Lani, King Shops and Queens Shops. They include groceries, restaurants and retail stores. They are within walking or biking distance from most of our vacation homes. - The resorts were designed to avoid overcrowding the beaches with condo towers and other developments. The gated communities are all set back from the beaches a bit to make sure the beach experience is amazing. From many of the homes you can walk to a beach in 15 minutes or bike ride. - The Kilauea volcano is 90 miles away behind two 13,000-foot mountains and has been very quiet for the last year. Even during the eruption event in 2018, it did not affect our side of the Island. The National Park is open, and it is fascinating to explore, go for a hike, or take an aerial tour. It is part of what makes the Big Island unique and should not be missed. - The Kona (KOA) airport is the closest to the resorts. It is a 25-35 min drive to the vacation rentals. It is an international airport with direct flights from LA, SF, San Diego, Sacramento, Portland, Seattle, Denver, Dallas, Phoenix, San Jose, Oakland, Anchorage, Vancouver and Tokyo. There are also direct flights to Oahu, Kauai, and Maui.

I have rented many homes over the years in my travels and will say that Jeff and Suzanne operate at the highest level of customer care. From the initial communication to our check out the experience was flawless. And, the home Sea to Sky was as good as could be, what a beautiful home and meticulously cared for. In addition, I will add the there are many beautiful homes to rent, but the attention to detail in the care of this home, the level of appointment in the kitchen and beach gear was top notch and set this home apart from the many choices out there. We can't wait to return!

Staying at the Villages gives you full access to its Recreation Center with fitness equipment, spa, pool and kiddie pool. You can also take advantage of the clean private Mauna Lani Beach Club staffed with lifeguards and the Na Pua Restaurant, just two miles away. Guests love the cabana-style chairs. Parents with little kids love the calm waters, and everyone can enjoy excellent snorkeling!
Laundry detergent, oxyclean, dryer sheets, dishwasher detergent, jet dry, cling wrap, foil, zip lock bags, assortment of spices, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, popcorn, starter bag of pure Kona Mountain coffee (the good stuff), hand soap, Dove soap bar, high end Float shampoo, shower gel and conditioner, two extra rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, and two paper towel rolls are provided. We have a clean fridge policy so upon check-in the fridge does not have any condiments.
Pack and play, high chair, bedrails, toilet training seat, step stool for little kids, baby monitors, swim belt/vest, kids kitchen items, full cribs, bike trailers, jogging strollers and other items are subject to availability.
