Buckhorn Lodge, a stunning cabin atop Sugar Mountain, is the perfect year-round destination. Minutes from the slopes, this luxurious retreat offers breathtaking views from the decks, a relaxing hot tub, and a charming stone fireplace in the lower yard for cozy evenings making s’mores. With garage access and just two steps to enter, convenience meets comfort as you walk into the living room with a gas log fireplace and an open kitchen. The granite island seats two, while the dining table comfortably holds eight. Three bedrooms on the main level include a king suite with a TV, deck access, a fabulous tiled shower, and a soaking tub. Across the hallway, two Queen bedrooms each feature a TV and ceiling fan, with a second full bath in the hallway. A large mud room near the garage entrance and a laundry room add to the main level's practicality. The lower level is a hub of entertainment with a pool table, Pac-Man arcade, and a working jukebox. A kitchen area with a microwave and full-size fridge makes snack preparation easy, while a second full laundry room ensures convenience. Two more king bedrooms, each with a TV, offer private sinks and share a full bathroom with a combination tub/shower. The final bedroom has two twin beds, perfect for additional guests. The main level deck provides beautiful mountain views with large rockers and a grill with granite counters, perfect for al fresco dining. The lower level deck features a large hot tub, a ski-lift swing, and steps leading to the lower yard, making Buckhorn Lodge an ideal mountain getaway.

90% Refund: Receive a 90% refund when you cancel your reservation at least 60 days before check-in.
No Refund: Reservations canceled 59 days or less before check-in are not eligible for a refund.
Refunds subject to a 10% processing fee of the total.
Things you need to know
Firewood may be purchased for the fire pit at the time of booking or by contacting us with at least a week’s notice. You’ll get two wrapped packs of kiln dried wood and a fire starter for $25 plus tax.
The owners of this home use exterior cameras to monitor their property and ensure it remains safe. The cameras face the front/driveway area only and are not pointed at the interior of the home.
Please note that this home have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
Kitchen is stocked with all utensils needed to cook meals.
Towels and linens will be provided.
The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows.
Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
The summer concerts are open to all guests however there may be an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
Hot tubs are professionally serviced between rentals.
Restrictions
- Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATV's.
- Please carefully check the number of people each unit sleeps as detailed on the website description. This represents the maximum number of people, including children, allowed to occupy the property and/or be upon the grounds of the property at any given time.
- All equipment in the unit should be in working order.
- Vacation rental home and is not intended to serve as an event venue.
- Persons with a communicable disease, open wounds, or any infection should not use the hot tub.
- Please be aware that some properties are not equipped with air conditioning. KEY is not responsible for weather conditions at the time of tenancy, and there will be no refunds or switching of properties due to lack of air conditioning.
- No smoking is allowed on the premises.
- Do not leave money or valuables unattended.
- Lock all doors when you leave your accommodations.
- Minimum night stay requirements vary by home and time of year.
- The property is not responsible for items left behind.
- Persons under the age of 25 must be accompanied by adult guardian or parent at all times.
