Beautiful house, amazing sunsets, incredible staff! Rafa made this trip so easy, he booked all transportation and excursions, dinner recommendations and helped immediately when things went awry! The staff was wonderful, made incredible breakfasts, cleaned and did laundry. The beach and sunsets are beautiful and Tamarindo a quick 5 minute golf cart away! This was a vacation of a lifetime!

Things you need to know
Kindly note that Casa de Luz features dual staircases—one leading to the northern wing (Master Bedroom #3) and the other to the southern wing (Master Bedroom #4). To reach Center Upstairs Bedroom #5 and Center Upstairs Bedroom #6, use Master #3 or Master #4, since these central rooms don't have separate entrances. Additionally, both Master bedrooms share a bathroom with the central rooms.
We offer 100 Mbps of internet access throughout your home so if you need to work or navigate the internet, we have you covered! The house also has a backup battery for the modem & router, so you are always online uninterrupted. If you wish to request a portable wireless router, we can gladly have these available for you with an additional rental fee to keep you more connected.
Beach essentials, bathroom essentials, beach towels, extra pillows, and blankets are provided.

Restrictions
- Holiday dates are excluded from the cancellation policy, as all holiday bookings are non-refundable.
- Minimum night stay requirements vary by home and time of year.
- All events must be pre-approved, please coordinate with us about having your destination wedding or special event, and let us put you in contact with our expert local planners. Ask one of our experts today about our special rates.
- Bonfires, fireworks, and/or sky lanterns are not allowed in this area during any time of your stay; as it is located in a Marine National Park zone with strict governmental national park rules and fines may apply.
- It is not recommended to swim during high tide, once the low tide comes in, you can enjoy one of the most beautiful sets of tide pools in the area. Suitable for all ages.
- Except for guests registered in the original booking number, outside visitors not pre-approved are not allowed at any time inside the premises.
- We are a strictly non-smoking rental. We ask that you not smoke in the house at all. If evidence of smoking, such as the smell of cigarettes inside the home and/or cigarette burns on the furniture, is noticed by the cleaning crew there will be a $500 damage assessment.
- Pets are strictly not allowed unless otherwise discussed before booking.
- Our properties are part of beautiful residential neighborhoods where other residents are mutually respectful of each other’s privacy. We ask that you please refrain from having raucous late-night parties and especially from playing loud music or making excessive noise.
- Occupants take full responsibility for securing their personal belongings. Please lock your valuables whenever you leave the house. KEY is not responsible for any lost or damaged personal items.
- When using the air-conditioning units, please remember to turn them off when not in use and keep usage to a minimum. Before leaving any room, please remember to switch off all lights. By following these recommendations, you contribute to our collective effort in conserving energy and promoting sustainability.
