Neighborhood: El Tesoro You have several beach access points from this property; however, across the street, at 0.4 miles (700 m) walking distance, from the gated community that includes Casa Lomas del Mar, is Pangas Restaurant, a delightful Guanacaste fusion bar/restaurant set in the sand where the estuary meets the ocean. You can access the beach from here during working hours and make this your starting point for walks along the beach into the town of Tamarindo where you will experience the energy of this lively beach town.

Casa Lomas del Mar is a beautiful property and we enjoyed our stay there very much. The house is very well equipped with everything you could want in the kitchen, beach towels, and bathroom necessities. We had a few logistical issues and the management company was very quick to address these which was great. I appreciated the services of the concierge. The view is amazing. The pool is wonderful and the location is great. There is a very steep hill getting to the house, but it wasn't a problem for driving and for those of us who are sturdy walkers.

Restrictions
- Holiday dates are excluded from the cancellation policy, as all holiday bookings are non-refundable.
- Minimum night stay requirements vary by home and time of year.
- With the exception of guests registered in the original booking number, outside visitors not pre-approved are not allowed at any time inside the premises.
- We are a strictly non-smoking rental. We ask that you not smoke in the house at all. If evidence of smoking, such as the smell of cigarettes inside the home and/or cigarette burns on the furniture, is noticed by the cleaning crew there will be a $500 damage assessment.
- Pets are strictly not allowed unless otherwise discussed before booking.
- Our properties are part of beautiful residential neighborhoods where other residents are mutually respectful of each other’s privacy. We ask that you please refrain from having raucous late-night parties and especially from playing loud music or making excessive noise.
- Occupants take full responsibility for securing their personal belongings. Please lock your valuables whenever you leave the house. KEY is not responsible for any lost or damaged personal items.
- When using the air-conditioning units, please remember to turn them off when not in use and keep usage to a minimum. Before leaving any room, please remember to switch off all lights. By following these recommendations, you contribute to our collective effort in conserving energy and promoting sustainability.
