Things you need to know

Please be aware that this home has NO A/C. Due to the moderate coastal climate, this house (like most in the area) does not have air conditioning, but rather locked screen doors & ceiling fans in all sleeping areas.

Restrictions

  • Minimum night stay requirements vary by home and time of year.
  • Occupancy must not exceed the published limit for the property, including all guests. Day visitors must leave by 10:00 PM. Parties and gatherings are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate eviction without a refund.
  • A 24-hour noise ordinance is in effect. Guests must keep voices and music at reasonable levels, bring conversations indoors by 10:00 PM, and keep doors and windows closed to contain noise.
  • Bookings include a zero-tolerance policy for noise disturbances, over-occupancy, and parties. Violations causing neighbor complaints will lead to immediate eviction with no refund.
  • Bag and tie all garbage and place it in the designated trash or recycling bins. Contact the office if bins are full.
  • Only use the designated parking spaces. Avoid blocking neighboring driveways, follow street signs, and maintain access for emergency vehicles. No refunds are given if vehicles don’t fit in provided spaces.
  • Costs like transportation, tips, meals, insurance, and personal services are not included in the rental.
  • Guests assume all risk for damage to personal and property items. Landlords are held harmless against any associated risks.
  • The property is for residential use only. Guests agree to follow all applicable laws and regulations and to avoid activities that increase insurance costs or cause cancellation of coverage.
  • Smoking is prohibited. Guests are financially responsible for any smoke-related damage, including odor remediation, and may be evicted for violations.
  • Events are prohibited. Excessive noise or complaints may lead to immediate removal from the property.
  • The property owner is not liable for loss, damage, injury, or inconveniences due to interruptions in utilities or uncontrollable events like weather or construction.
  • Any provided services are conveniences and not essential to the rental agreement. No refunds will be given for issues with service quality or access.
  • If air conditioning is available, set it no lower than 72°F, and heat no higher than 78°F. Keep doors and windows closed when HVAC is in use. No refunds are given for lack of HVAC or malfunctions.
  • The manager is not responsible for lost or abandoned items. Unclaimed items may be donated or sold after 30 days.
  • Pets are not allowed unless stated otherwise. Unauthorized pets may result in eviction, and guests are responsible for all associated damages and costs.
  • Kegs and RVs are prohibited on the property.
