Steps from the slopes, this three-level ski-in/ski-out chalet delivers an immersive mountain experience with direct access to Whitefish Mountain Resort year-round. Vaulted ceilings, expansive windows, and rustic Montana finishes define the open-concept main level, where the living, dining, and kitchen areas come together in a warm and inviting setting. A striking stone fireplace anchors the living room, while the chef’s kitchen—equipped with high-end appliances—makes gathering and entertaining effortless. The adjoining game area adds a playful touch, and the private patio with a hot tub offers front-row views of skiers passing by and the surrounding alpine landscape. Upstairs, three private ensuite bedrooms provide comfort and privacy, including a spacious primary suite complete with its own fireplace, balcony, and spa-inspired bathroom. The lower level adds functionality with a mudroom, laundry area, and an additional bunk-style bedroom designed for groups and families. Thoughtfully designed with a balance of character and convenience, this mountain retreat places adventure just outside the door while offering inviting spaces to relax and recharge after a day on the slopes or trails.

Neighborhood: Slopeside - Delight in access to all Whitefish Mountain Resort offers including skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, alpine slides and so much more. Hit the slopes right from your door or watch skiers go by. - 45 Minutes to Glacier National Park - 15 Minutes to Downtown Whitefish - In the winter, downhill skiing at Whitefish Mountain Resort provides 3,000+ skiable acres, 15 lifts with terrain for all skill levels and stunning views. The resort was recently ranked #3 in the West by Ski Magazine readers! There are plenty of other winter activities from snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, ice fishing, hiking, snowshoeing and more. Of course, you’ll also want to explore downtown Whitefish eateries and galleries and don’t miss Winter Carnival with a parade and skijoring! - In the summer, enjoy all the water sports imaginable at Whitefish Lake, or any of the 100+ lakes & rivers within 100 miles, including Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi in the lower 48! Whitefish Mountain Resort also provides endless activities such as mountain biking, hiking, zip-lining, ropes courses, alpine slides, and scenic chair or gondola rides (with Glacier National Park views). Speaking of Glacier National Park, it’s only 45 minutes away from Whitefish! Don’t miss the breathtaking Going-To-The-Sun road, Lake McDonald, and 70+day hikes! You'll also want to take advantage of the Whitefish Trail system with 43 miles of hiking & biking trails, as well as great restaurants, art galleries, breweries, distilleries, a train museum, golf courses and local events such as Huckleberry Days, farmer’s markets, rodeos and Under the Big Sky music festival!
Getting to the property
- Montana is Big Sky Country and the best way to explore all its beauty is to have your own car. We highly recommend a 4WD vehicle in the winter and guests of Big Sky & Whitefish do have several shuttle options if your preference is not to drive. Make sure to reserve your rental car early. - Getting around Whitefish and to Whitefish Mountain Resort is a breeze with the FREE snow bus! The snow bus is a free shuttle service during peak winter and summer seasons. There are stops all around town and on the mountain, including the base lodge which is only 200 steps from your Slopeside retreat. Whitefish also has Uber, Lyft and Taxis.

Things you need to know
Please note that most homes in Montana do not have air conditioning; this Slopeside home is equipped with air conditioning. We encourage guests to open the windows at night to enjoy cooler evening temperatures and close them during the day (including curtains/blinds) to keep the cool air in. For your safety, please only open windows when you are present in the property. Additionally, the home has fans located in the bedroom closets.

Restrictions
Guests & Occupancy
- Primary Guest must be 18+, must match the credit card holder, and must stay at the property for the duration of the reservation. Reservations for unaccompanied minors are prohibited and will result in eviction with forfeiture of all charges.
- Occupancy must not exceed the number stated on the reservation; no exceptions.
- Primary Guest is responsible for all occupants and invitees, including damages, violations, and charges.
- Additional unapproved guests may result in extra per-person charges, fines, or eviction without refund.
- Residential use only. No parties or gatherings unless pre-approved in writing. Violations may result in eviction and additional charges.
- Property must be used lawfully and with care; misuse of appliances or systems resulting in damage will be charged.
Events & Noise
- Parties and gatherings are strictly prohibited unless pre-approved in writing.
- Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM. Violations: $250 fine after first warning; third violation = eviction without refund.
- Excessive noise, illegal activity, or disturbances may result in immediate eviction and additional charges.
- Guests must follow all HOA rules; any fines are the Guest’s responsibility.
Prohibited Activities
- Pets: Only allowed in designated pet-friendly properties with prior written approval + $200/pet fee. Unauthorized pets: $1,000 cleaning fee + eviction without refund.
- Service animals: Allowed with required documentation; Guest responsible for any damages or additional cleaning.
- Smoking/vaping: Strictly prohibited. Evidence of smoking results in a $1,000 cleaning fee. No incense or oil lamps.
- Illegal activity: Strictly prohibited; may result in eviction without refund and additional charges.
- Fire hazards: No candles (except approved outdoor/emergency use).
- Vehicles: No RVs, trailers, or campers. No vehicle repairs on-site.
- Other restrictions: Violations of the agreement may result in fees up to 3× the daily rental rate and/or eviction.
Equipment & Amenities
- Seasonal/vehicle requirements: 4WD/high-clearance vehicles recommended; no refunds for road/weather conditions.
- Hot tubs _(if equipped)_: Use at your own risk. No children under 16 without adult supervision. Misuse or excessive dirtiness: $50 service fee; damaged cover = replacement cost.
- Appliances & systems: Must be used properly; Guest is responsible for misuse, damage, and repair costs.
- Internet/WiFi: Speeds not guaranteed; no refunds or relocation for connectivity issues.
- Equipment issues: Must be reported immediately; failure to report may result in charges.
- Parking: Only designated areas allowed. Violations may result in towing at the guest's expense. Lost parking pass: $300 fee.
- Access & inspections: Entry may occur for maintenance, inspections, or disturbances.
- Security: Exterior cameras may be present.
- No refunds for malfunctions: No compensation for failure of HVAC, hot water, appliances, WiFi, hot tubs, or other amenities.
Checkout & Care
- Cleaning expectations: Property must be left reasonably clean; excessive cleaning will incur charges.
- Furniture & property care: Do not move furniture or alter setup; restoring systems/furniture may result in charges.
- Trash & general care: Guests must follow all checkout instructions in the digital guide.
- Key/parking pass return: Parking pass must be left in unit; $300 fee if lost.
- Checkout time: 10:00 AM. Late checkout without approval: hourly fees (minimum 1 hour); after 2:00 PM = full day charge.
- Early arrival: Unauthorized early entry may result in a fee up to 50% of one night’s rate.
- Damage reporting: Must be reported before checkout to qualify under damage waiver (up to $3,000).
