At the entrance to downtown Whitefish, this new townhome puts restaurants, shops, and the free SNOW Bus stop within easy reach — a distinct advantage over mountain-based properties for anyone who wants town access without a car.
Both bedrooms are en-suite king suites with identical layouts — a genuinely equal setup for two couples, with no hierarchy between rooms.
The kitchen is a standout — stocked with Hexclad cookware, a full spice suite, Nespresso machine, French press, waffle maker, and air fryer. This is meaningfully better equipped than a typical vacation rental kitchen.
Private hot tub, outdoor firepit, and BBQ grill are all on-site, along with a Peloton bike inside — an unusually complete amenity package for a two-bedroom property.

Getting to the property

- Montana is Big Sky Country and the best way to explore all its beauty is to have your own car. We highly recommend a 4WD vehicle in the winter and guests of Big Sky & Whitefish do have several shuttle options if your preference is not to drive. Make sure to reserve your rental car early. - Getting around Whitefish and to Whitefish Mountain Resort is a breeze with the FREE snow bus! The snow bus is a free shuttle service during peak winter and summer seasons. There are stops all around town and on the mountain. Whitefish also has Uber, Lyft and Taxis.

Cosmic cowboy was an outstanding place to stay. I was with 4 people, so it was very roomy, Aesthetically pleasing, everything was clean, they provided coffee which was a huge plus the homemade cookies were adorable! The house was also very close to down town. Everything about this place was awesome, if i ever come back to the area this is where ill be staying!

Guests & Occupancy

  • Primary Guest must be 18+, must match the credit card holder, and must stay at the property for the duration of the reservation. Reservations for unaccompanied minors are prohibited and will result in eviction with forfeiture of all charges.
  • Occupancy must not exceed the number stated on the reservation; no exceptions.
  • Primary Guest is responsible for all occupants and invitees, including damages, violations, and charges.
  • Additional unapproved guests may result in extra per-person charges, fines, or eviction without refund.
  • Residential use only. No parties or gatherings unless pre-approved in writing. Violations may result in eviction and additional charges.
  • Property must be used lawfully and with care; misuse of appliances or systems resulting in damage will be charged.
