100% Refund: Receive a 100% refund when you cancel your reservation at least 31 days before check-in.
50% Refund: Receive a 50% refund when you cancel your reservation at least 15 days before check-in.
No Refund: Reservations canceled 30 days or less before check-in are not eligible for a refund.
Things you need to know
Two beach cruiser bikes are included and available for guest use.
Dumbbell weight sets are provided in the garage.
The 3rd floor is a converted loft complete with a full-size pullout sofa. This floor does not have a privacy door.
This home sleeps up to 9 adults, or 8 adults and 2 children comfortably.
The home is monitored by exterior surveillance cameras.
A complimentary starter pack of amenities, including rolls of paper towels, dishwasher tablets, trash bags, dishwashing liquid, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, toilet paper, and detergent. Guests are responsible for the purchase of any additional items they may require during their stay.
Restrictions
Guests & Occupancy
- Primary renter must be 30 or older. If all guests are adults, each must be over 30 (families are exempt).
- The property may only be occupied by the approved number of guests listed on the reservation.
- The booking guest is fully responsible for all guests, visitors, and invitees, including their behavior, damages, and compliance with house rules.
- Unapproved guests are subject to a $250 per person, per night fee, charged without notice. Violations may result in immediate termination, removal from the property, and forfeiture of all payments and deposits.
- The home is for personal vacation use only. Commercial use of any kind is strictly prohibited.
Events & Noise
- No weddings, parties, receptions, or large gatherings are permitted at any time. Written approval is not available.
- San Diego noise ordinances must be followed. Loud music, disruptive behavior, or vehicle noise is not permitted.
- Noise complaints or violations may result in fines, immediate removal, and forfeiture of the full rental amount and security deposit.
Prohibited Activities
- Pets: Not permitted unless pre-authorized in writing by Management prior to arrival. Approved pets incur a $200 pet fee. Unauthorized pets are subject to a $2,000 fine, additional cleaning costs, immediate removal, and forfeiture of all payments. Service animals, as defined by law, are permitted with advance notice. Guests are responsible for any damages or additional cleaning. Emotional support animals are considered on a case-by-case basis with a prior accommodation request.
- Smoking/Vaping: No smoking or vaping anywhere on the premises. Violations result in damage charges, odor remediation costs, potential future cancellation charges, and possible immediate removal without refund.
- Illegal drugs and unlawful activity are strictly prohibited, including underage possession of alcohol. Violations result in immediate removal and forfeiture of all payments.
- Fireworks are not permitted. Violations result in immediate removal and full financial responsibility for all damages.
Equipment & Amenities
- HVAC _(if equipped)_: Air conditioning may not be set below 72°F, and heat may not be set above 78°F. The fan must remain on _Auto_, and all doors and windows must stay closed while the HVAC is operating. No refunds will be issued for HVAC malfunctions.
- Pool & Spa _(if equipped)_: Use at guest’s sole risk; guests assume all liability for injuries, including death. Pools and spas must be kept free of debris and sand, and gates/doors must remain secured. Excess debris may incur a $250 cleaning fee. Guests are fully responsible for any damages or misuse.
- Internet / TV / Cable: Provided as a convenience only. No refunds for outages, speed issues, content limitations, or user preferences.
- Equipment Reporting: Guests must promptly report any damage, malfunction, or maintenance issue. Failure to report may result in additional charges.
- Parking: Guests must comply with city and HOA parking rules. Illegally parked vehicles may be ticketed or towed at the guest’s expense. Management is not responsible for parking violations.
- Restricted Areas: Guests may not access locked areas, storage spaces, or owner closets.
Checkout & Care
- A mandatory, non-refundable cleaning fee is included in the reservation. Excessive mess, stains, odors, or misuse requiring additional cleaning will be charged to the Guest.
- Furniture may not be rearranged, and no alterations, installations, or modifications are allowed. All windows and doors must be locked when the property is unattended.
- Checkout Time: Standard check-out is 10:00 AM unless a late check-out is pre-approved in writing. Late check-out requests must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance. Unauthorized late departures may result in additional fees.
- Checkout Procedures: Guests must start a load of beach towels, run the dishwasher, turn off lights, HVAC, and fans, lock all doors, and vacate on time with all personal belongings removed.
Liability & Disclaimers
- Not responsible for lost, stolen, or abandoned items. Item return (if possible): Shipping cost + $25 handling fee. Items unclaimed after 30 days may be disposed of per California law.
- Guests assume all risk for injuries related to the pool, spa, hot tub, stairs, and property use. Management and Owners are not liable.
- No refunds for failures of utilities, appliances, pool/spa equipment, or other systems. Management will make reasonable repair efforts.
- No refunds for weather, natural disasters, pandemics, smoke, road closures, utility interruptions, or travel disruptions.
- Construction noise or activity outside Management’s control does not constitute grounds for refunds.
- If the home becomes uninhabitable, Management may offer a comparable replacement or provide a full refund. No additional claims may be made.
