KEY Curation Notes

Ski out the door to Madison Base. A groomed trail just down the street links to the Natawista run and carries you to the base area for lessons, the Derringer beginner lift, or Six Shooter to ride either side of the mountain. Lifts typically open early to mid-December, which sets the window for ski access.

The primary suite opens onto a private hot tub. It steps directly out to the deck and has its own gas fireplace.

The great room is built around the view. Two-story vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows frame Lone Peak and the Spanish Peaks. A large gas fireplace and the kitchen island anchor the space.

This stay runs independent of the club. Club amenities sit outside this rental, which keeps it free of nightly access fees. Mountain Village and Meadow Village are a short drive for dining and shopping.

Arrival supplies cover the essentials. Expect a coffee starter kit, salt and pepper, oil and vinegar, and cleaning basics. KEY.co grocery delivery is the easy way to have the kitchen stocked before you walk in.

Neighborhood: Moonlight Mountain Short drive to the dining and shopping in Mountain Village, Basecamps Big Sky activities, and Meadow Village. Ski Out: Just down the street, ski directly to the Madison base on the Moonlight Basin side of Big Sky Resort via a groomed trail directly out your door that links up with the Natawista ski run. Follow Natawista through the tunnel under Peaks View Drive to the Madison base area. Stop at the base area for lessons or continue on Cinnabar to the Derringer lift (beginner area). More advanced skiers/snowboarders can hop on the Six Shooter lift and ride either the Moonlight or Big Sky side of the mountain. Ski In: From the top of Ironhorse or Six Shooter lifts, ski down Lazy Jack to the intersection of Cinnabar and Powder River. From here either stay left on Cinnabar or or stay straight on Powder River continuing through the ski tunnel and past the first skier bridge. Take a hard right on Natawista run. Follow Natawista back over the next two skier bridges to the Silvertip Cabins that will be on the right.

Julina, I just wanted to thank you for all your help with our Moonlight Basin rental. I really appreciate all the time you took to make sure we had a good house for our family and to answer all my questions! Also really grateful you were able to secure an early check-in for us. We had a wonderful time and the house was perfect for us and very close to the access trail.

Things you need to know

Ski stress-free directly in and out of your unit by utilizing our lift ticket and ski rental delivery system.

Garbage pick-ups are also provided daily as-needed, and we additionally will stock groceries for arrivals upon request. Featuring Malin & Goetz toiletries, luxury linens and towels are flawlessly placed in each bedroom and bathroom. A coffee starter kit, salt/pepper, oil/vinegar, cleaning supplies (dish soap, dish detergent, paper towels, etc.) are additionally placed to make your stay as convenient and seamless as possible.

Guest access is not available.

Restrictions

Minimum night stay requirements vary by home and time of year.
This property requires at least a 3-night minimum stay. Longer minimums may be required during peak periods. If a rental is taken for less than 3 days, the guest will be charged for 3 nights.
Smoking is not allowed in the residence (including on any deck or patio). Failure to comply with this smoking policy will result in possible eviction without refund and/or an assessment of 2 nights rent for loss of use, in addition to any cleaning or other mitigation costs.
People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest. Guests are not allowed to exceed the occupancy limit.
Keep the property and all furnishings in good and clean order. Use the property and all furnishings, appliances and equipment only for their intended purposes and in a manner to avoid damage.
Pets are NOT allowed in or on the property. Failure to comply with this pet policy will result in possible eviction without refund and/or an assessment of 2 nights rent for loss of use, in addition to any cleaning or other mitigation costs
Any garbage must be stowed in the proper garbage or recycling receptacle.
During the winter season, the property will require snow shoveling services that are contracted privately and directly with the homeowner. The Property must perform any and all duties relating to snow removal for the property throughout the winter season to ensure the property is properly maintained and cared for in accordance with the management agreement with the owner. We may need to access the property to perform required snow removal duties to ensure the property is properly maintained and cared for. All team members of the snow removal team are employees and will exercise reasonable notice when entering the house through knocking and announcing themselves clearly. Employees will only require access to the home for snow removal purposes between the hours of 9am and 4pm and will make every effort to be as efficient as possible to minimize the disturbance during your rental period but they must not be refused entry to perform the required and contracted snow removal services. If at any time, members of the snow removal team are denied entry between 9am and 4pm to perform snow removal services, you may be charged a denial fee up to $500.
Not all properties are equipped with a hot tub. No children are permitted in hot tubs at any time without adult supervision. When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility, and such risks may be increased for young children, those in poor health or those with certain health conditions. Use hot tubs at your own risk.
Housekeepers drain, sanitize, refill and replenish chemicals in all tubs prior to Guest’s arrival; Therefore, the hot tub may not be warm until later that evening.
Do not stand on the hot tub covers. Hot tub covers are for insulation purposes and are not designed to support a person or persons. They will break and you may be charged for replacement and/or injuries may occur. Remember when not using the hot tub, leave cover on so hot tub will stay warm. Additional rules with respect to any hot tub may be posted at the property.
The chemical bromine is used for all hot tubs. The Property assumes no responsibility for allergies, irritations, or other issues associated with the use of the hot tubs.
Additional drains/cleans of the hot tub are available for a $75 fee.
