Neighborhood: North side of Oceanside - North Coast Village is located right on the beach between the Oceanside Harbor and the Oceanside Pier, and is a favorite destination for people from around the world. - Within a short drive, visit Disneyland & California Adventure, Knott's Berry Farm, Universal Studios, Magic Mountain, Balboa Island, La Jolla, Mission San Juan Capistrano, Mission Luis Rey, Queen Mary, San Diego State Parks, San Diego Wild Animal Park, Legoland, Sea World, The Flower Fields of Carlsbad, Temecula Wine Country, San Diego Zoo, Del Mar Racetrack, Coronado Island, Oceanside Harbor, Birch Aquarium at Scripp's Institute of Oceanography, and Palomar Observatory.
Parking information
- Most of our properties at North Coast Village come with one designated parking space in a gated garage - If you need to park an additional vehicle, there are two options. The “A” building and “B” building garages have a few “24-hour” parking spaces that are first-come first-serve. However, if you park there you will need to display a rental parking sign from the HOA and you MUST move your vehicle every 24 hours or you will get a $50 fine. The other option is to park in the municipal lot across Pacific Street, which costs $7 per day. You may park there at night for free with a valid North Coast Village parking pass on your dash. - When parking in the underground garage at North Coast Village, all vehicles must pull straight in. No backing in is allowed. - In addition, the maximum size of the vehicle allowed is: Height: 6 ½ Feet; Length: 21 Feet. Also, nothing is allowed to be hung over the balcony railings, such as beach towels. The North Coast Village HOA imposes a $50 fine for each occurrence of backing into a parking space or hanging items over the balconies.

My husband and I enjoyed 5 days in this freshly updated condo. It’s a 5 minute walk or less to the beach and the strand in Oceanside. The kitchen is updated with stainless appliances, a wonderful toaster, Keurig & blender. There are large TVs in living and bedroom. The master bed has a comfortable mattress and bedding. There is a convenient eating bar, dining table and sitting area. You can see the waves from the balcony. The walk-in shower is separate from the vanity. The pool and separate spa area is well maintained. It was a very comfortable stay.

Things you need to know
The kitchen will be fully stocked with dinnerware, flatware, cookware, storage containers, and cleaning supplies.
Each bed will be made up with fresh linens and an extra set will be in the closet. We also provide a laundry basket.
Your rental property will be equipped with the following items: bath towels, hand towels, face towels, a make-up cloth, a bath mat, beach towels, beach chairs, kitchen towels, cleaning supplies such as dish towels, a sponge, dish soap, a “starter roll” of paper towels, a hair dryer, small bars of soap, and a “starter” quantity of bath tissue.
We do not provide any consumable items such as salt, pepper, condiments or coffee. Likewise, you will want to bring your own shampoo and conditioner.
We also do not provide boogie boards or sand toys. They are available to purchase at the harbor, which is within walking distance.
Restrictions
- Minimum night stay requirements vary by home and time of year.
- Smoking is prohibited inside the unit, on the balcony, on the patio, or anywhere on the grounds. The cost of smoke remediation inside the unit will be billed to your credit card on file, as well as the cost of any smoking violation fines assessed by North Coast Village.
- North Coast Village requires pre-approval of any assistance or companion animals. Paperwork must be submitted and approved prior to the day of arrival.
- Ants are a common occurrence in beachfront condominiums in San Diego. While there is periodic pest control in the unit and the complex, ants do sometimes appear in the units, especially in the kitchens and bathrooms.
- We recommend that you store food and drink either in the refrigerator or in tightly sealed containers. We also recommend you take trash and recycling out of the unit regularly.
- Air conditioning is NOT available in any of our properties. Many rooms have ceiling fans and we also provide portable fans.
- Each year the Army Corps of Engineers engages in a sand-replenishing program (also known as dredging) where it removes approximately 200,000 cubic yards of sand from the mouth of the Oceanside Harbor, where winter ocean currents have deposited it, and replenishes the beach with it. This usually occurs in late spring to early summer and usually lasts no more than ten days to two weeks. KEY has no control over when this occurs, how long it lasts, or where the equipment is located. The beach is still accessible during this process.
- Occupancy rules limit the number of guests in this unit to four people.
- If a guest leaves an item behind and we are able to locate it, we will be happy to mail it back. The guest is responsible for the cost of shipping and a $25.00 handling fee.
