Neighborhood: Catalina Cove - Located in the exclusive Catalina Cove neighborhood, a 15-minute walk from the beach. - Brasilito is a charming town between Flamingo and Huacas with multiple restaurants, shops, and hotels. The Masala Indian Restaurant is excellent, and the Patagonia del Mar steakhouse is very popular. - Downtown Brasilito has a large, open field that is primarily used as a parking lot for people walking to Playa Conchal. Conchal is sometimes called the most beautiful beach in Costa Rica, and it’s well worth a visit, but you have to walk about half a kilometer from Brasilito to get there. This field is also used for seasonal fairs and rodeos, with a temporary bullring that’s erected every year in February. - There are various small convenience stores and the well-stocked Super Conchal. Sea Star Souvenirs is a great place to buy gifts. - Horseback riding is another popular activity here. You’ll often see horses tied up on the beach waiting for customers who want to ride.

We loved this place and our getaway there! The perfect base to have days of adventure (fishing, ziplining, mountain biking, river and waterfall hikes, or fun at the beach), only to return to a private paradise where we could eat in and drive a few minutes to some incredible dining experiences. The pool was great for early morning or evening dips and poolside conversations. The casa and casita was wonderfully equipped with everything you could possibly need, including all amenities and wonderful air conditioners. Quite restful nights, and everything we could possibly want just minutes away. Including families of monkeys right in the neighborhood. We were so relaxed, it was hard to return to reality.

The house will be stocked with a welcome basket of coffee, coffee filters, salt, pepper, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, paper towels, cooking oil, and Costa Rica’s famous Salsa Lizano. If you run out of any of these items during your stay, please replenish them at a local grocery store.
Towels and bed linens are provided.
Restrictions
- Minimum nights of stay vary by time of year.
- Between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m., please refrain from generating noise that’s audible outside the Property. And, of course, do adhere to all applicable parking regulations and limitations.
- The number of people present at the Property may not exceed the maximum posted occupancy unless we have given you advance written permission to hold an event at the Property, in which case the number of people present at the Property may not exceed the maximum number of people authorized.
- Smoking, vaping, prostitution, and drugs are never allowed inside any property. Smoking and vaping are allowed outside the home if not otherwise prohibited by Costa Rican law or the regulations of a multi-unit property.
- Events and commercial photography or filming are prohibited at the Property without our express written permission. (If approved, additional conditions and fees may apply.)
- No tents or other structures may be erected on the property without our express written permission.
- The use of charcoal grills is not permitted unless provided by the property.
- Using the Property for any criminal activity is strictly prohibited. This includes actions that are against the law. If found engaging in criminal activities, you may face fines, legal prosecution, and immediate eviction from the Property.
- For stays of 7 days or more, once-a-week cleaning is included. A cleaning fee is charged upon reserving the property to cover cleaning after your stay. If desired, guests can request additional cleaning for a fee of $40 + 13% for 3.5 hours of cleaning. Email notifications will be sent to eligible guests regarding cleaning schedules. Please note that cleaning times are fixed, and declined cleanings won’t be rescheduled.
- Locked areas for which the tenant is not provided a key are off-limits. Property owners sometimes lock up their belongings in personal storage areas, and guests must leave these alone. Any forced entry into the owner’s private locked space will result in eviction, forfeiture of the rental fee, a $500 fine, and any additional damages for missing items.
- If the Property has access to amenities that are shared with other properties, such as a shared pool, hot tub, parking lot, or fitness center, the availability and condition of those amenities are outside the management's control.
