KEY Curation Notes

4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, sleeps 10 — a newer Eagles Nest home within walking distance of the Great Camp amenity area. The layout spans two levels: two king suites on the main level (including the primary), two king suites upstairs, plus a bunk bedroom and a bonus room over the garage. Every sleeping room is accounted for — it's a practical, well-organized layout for families.
Both a gas fireplace and a wood-burning fireplace inside. Having both is genuinely rare; the wood-burning option earns its place on a cold mountain evening.
Private hot tub, fire pit, game room with pool table, air hockey table, and a theater area. The entertainment setup is layered well — game room and theater offer two separate retreat spaces without competing for the same footprint.
The Great Camp area is within walking distance. The Epic Chophouse, amphitheater, ropes course, hiking trails, disc golf, and mini-golf are all accessible on foot — no driving within the community for the main amenities.
Eagles Nest amenities are included, with caveats. Access covers the Epic Chophouse, amphitheater concerts, hiking trails, ropes course, sports courts, mini-golf, and the 24/7 general store. The fitness center, Wine & Cigar Bar, and locked portion of Sportsman's Lodge are members-only. Winery day passes are $25 per person.
Construction on the adjacent lot has been noted as ongoing. Work is permitted Monday–Saturday 7am–7pm; the notice was last updated January 2024 — verify current status at booking.
Not pet-friendly. 4WD required November–March; chains may be necessary. Linens and towels provided. KEY.co can arrange grocery delivery before check-in.

The Bear Creek Cabin is an amazing home in a wonderful secure community, and located perfectly to see all the sights in the region. Our family can't stop raving about the amenities, wildlife, recreation activities within the gates, local food, friendly neighbors, and breath taking scenery. The attention to detail in the home, and comfortable layout and furniture, made the stay even more relaxing and rewarding. We did not want to leave, and can't wait to return to the Bear Creek Cabin!

Things you need to know

Please note that a new home is wrapping up construction the heavy construction phase on the lot next door. Construction may be ongoing Mon-Sat, 7am-7pm** (Updated: January 10, 2024).

Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night.

Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)

The summer concerts are open to all guests however there is an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.

All linens and towels provided for your stay.

We provide a starter set of toilet tissue, paper towels, bath soap, dish soap, and trash bags. This is enough for one or two nights, but if you are staying for an extended length of time, you should plan to bring some supplies from home or plan to purchase these items at a grocery store when you arrive.

Restrictions

Guests & Occupancy

  • Age requirements: Primary guest must be at least 25 years old and must remain on-site for the full stay.
  • Maximum occupancy: Occupancy limits (including children) must not be exceeded at any time.
  • Guest accountability: The booking guest is responsible for all occupants, compliance with rules, and any damages beyond normal wear and tear.
  • Unauthorized guests: $25 per person per day for exceeding occupancy; may result in immediate removal.
  • Approved use of property: Use is limited to vacation purposes unless prior written approval is obtained. Subletting or assignment is not permitted without written approval.

Events & Noise

  • Events & gatherings: Not permitted without prior written approval; unauthorized events may result in fines, immediate removal without refund, and charges for damages/cleaning.
  • Noise restrictions: Must comply with local noise regulations at all times.

Prohibited Activities

  • Pets: Allowed only in designated homes with prior approval and a non-refundable pet fee. Unauthorized pets: $200 fee + $500 cleaning fee; may require removal or termination without refund. Pets must meet all listing restrictions and be pre-treated for pests.
  • Smoking/vaping: Strictly prohibited indoors; $300 smoke remediation fee.
  • Illegal activities: Any violation of laws or regulations is prohibited and may result in termination of stay.
  • Fireworks & firearms: Strictly prohibited at all times.
  • Fire/fireplace misuse: No burning wood in gas fireplaces. No roasting food in fireplaces. Unauthorized outdoor fires prohibited (fees apply).
  • EV charging: Prohibited unless specifically approved; $500 fine.

Equipment & Amenities

  • Seasonal requirements: (if applicable) 4WD/AWD and/or tire chains strongly recommended November–April; no refunds for lack of preparation.
  • Hot tubs _(if equipped)_: Use at your own risk; not suitable for individuals with infections or open wounds. Must follow all sanitation and usage rules (no additives, glass, or tampering). $500 fee for cover damage; additional fees for misuse or extra cleaning.
  • HVAC & utilities: Some homes may not have air conditioning; no refunds due to weather or lack of AC.
  • Internet/TV/phone: No refunds for outages or service issues. Pay-per-view is prohibited; charges will be billed if used. Long-distance calls must not be billed to the home.
  • Appliances & equipment: No refunds for malfunctions (TV, hot tub, appliances, etc.).
  • Equipment reporting: Issues must be reported promptly; repairs will be attempted but are not guaranteed.
  • Parking rules: Vehicle limits apply; some areas restrict motorcycles, RVs, or trailers. No roadside parking if prohibited.
  • Restricted areas: Locked closets/areas are off-limits.
  • Firewood: Available for purchase ($25/day) with 7-day advance notice.
