KEY Curation Notes

Private pool with an evening glow. The fenced backyard pool has a waterfall feature and lights that change color after dark, surrounded by lush tropical landscaping.

Golf and Queen’s Bath on foot. The Princeville Makai Golf Course is a few minutes’ walk away, and Queen’s Bath is about ten minutes on foot. Save the tide pool for calm summer days, because winter surf on the north shore makes it dangerous.

Beaches are a short drive, fully geared. Hanalei Bay is about ten minutes by car. The garage is stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards, snorkel gear, bikes, and a wagon to haul it all. A private hot and cold outdoor shower takes care of the sand when you get back.

Upstairs suites with their own baths. All three upper-level bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, and the primary bedroom opens onto a private lanai overlooking the backyard. The three remaining bedrooms share the other two baths.

Set up for group cooking. The kitchen is equipped for large-group meals, with a second full-size fridge and freezer in the garage, a large gas grill on the lanai, and fresh herbs growing in the yard. A full-size washer and dryer are also included.

Neighborhood: Haleleʻa–Nā Pali - Princeville is the gateway to Kauai's north shore and a myriad of activities. Drive out for a few minutes and you could be kayaking in the Hanalei River, hiking on seasonal trails along NaʻPali, horseback riding to waterfalls, or deep-sea fishing. Look out at the ocean for sea turtles, frolicking dolphins and humpback whales (in winter months). The shops and restaurants of the Princeville Center are just minutes from the house. It's just a ten-minute drive to the charming town of Hanalei and one of the world's best beaches. The Princeville Makai Golf Course, listed by National Geographic as one of the five most scenic in the world, is just a few minutes’ walk from the home. A tour of the golf course will give you exotic and breathtaking views of the island. The Queen’s Bath, a natural pool by the ocean that offers breathtaking views of the Hanalei Bay, is a ten-minute walk from the home.

We had a wonderful stay at this vacation rental in Kauai. Host Richard and management representative Sue were incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to answer any questions we had. Their recommendations for local restaurants and activities made our Hawaiian getaway even better. The house was clean and ideal for our group of 11; there was plenty of space for both sleeping and gathering. The well-stocked kitchen made meal prep a breeze, and the fantastic pool and outdoor area became our favorite spots to relax and enjoy the Hawaiian breeze. Many thoughtful extras, like beach towels, beach chairs, blankets, umbrellas, and bikes (even though a few had brake issues), made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we had an unforgettable time in Kauai and recommend this property to anyone wanting comfort, convenience, and a memorable Hawaiian experience.
