KEY Curation Notes

A 220-year-old Chatham sea captain's estate with a stunning converted barn/guest house — the two-structure compound totals 8BR/7.5BA sleeping 18, and the architectural character here is genuinely irreplaceable. Exposed posts, beams, and rafters in the barn; Federalist gambrel roof on the main house; period glass doorknobs throughout.
The barn is the centerpiece gathering space — a soaring interior with fully exposed timber framing, a second full kitchen, two upstairs bedrooms, covered patio looking toward the pool, and changing rooms. Note: the main barn hall is not air conditioned; only the bedrooms and kitchen/living area are cooled.
Large heated pool with cabana and changing rooms, open Memorial Day through Columbus Day. Crow's Pond is a 0.4-mile walk for kayaking; Chatham Lighthouse Beach is about a four-mile drive; Chatham Village with its shops, restaurants, galleries, and the Chatham Anglers is just minutes away.
Off-season capacity changes — from mid-October through April the barn is winterized, reducing the property to 6BR/5.5BA sleeping 14. Worth confirming the barn is operational for shoulder-season bookings.
Peak season rents Friday to Friday with a seven-night minimum — cleaning fee waived for seven-night stays. Three-night minimum available in May–June and September–November. Linens included, beds made. KEY.co can arrange grocery delivery so you arrive fully stocked.

Reviews

Charles

Very nice property with plenty of space for our large group. The kitchen is a little small but that is made up for with a large finished barn and a beautiful pool. The large property is set beside a golf course which adds to the peaceful surroundings.
