It offers breathtaking, 180-degree long-range views of Grandfather, Sugar, and Yellow Mountains. The lodge provides a peaceful, wooded escape while keeping you just minutes away from local ski slopes, hiking trails, and downtown dining.
Parking information
The property includes free private parking directly on the premises for multiple vehicles. Because of the mountainous terrain, a 4WD or AWD vehicle is required from November through March, and snow chains may be necessary during winter weather conditions.

Things you need to know
The soaring Great Room features 30-foot-plus vaulted ceilings, Pecky Cypress walls, a baby grand piano, and a dramatic wall of windows framing panoramic mountain views. Leather seating surrounds an oversized stone gas fireplace and 75-inch HD Smart TV.
The gourmet kitchen features granite countertops, a large center island, custom tile backsplash, Wolfe six-burner gas cooktop, oversized refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, oven, and convection oven. Three barstools provide casual seating, while the adjacent dining table accommodates up to 10.1
Expansive decks across all three levels offer mountain views, upscale lounge and dining areas, an outdoor stone fireplace with Smart TV, a grilling station with Big Green Egg, and an eight-person hot tub. A separate stone courtyard features Adirondack-style seating and a versatile barbecue pit that doubles as an open fire pit.
All three levels of the house feature expansive decks - both covered and open-air.
The deck furniture is all high-end and comfortable.
Firewood may be added at time of booking by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night.
The North Pavilion is host to several summer parties including a Fourth of July celebration and concerts which guests are more than welcome to attend however, in the event there is a wedding or other private party, guests are not allowed in or near the Sportsmans Lodge.
Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
The summer concerts are open to all guests however there may be an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
All Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious amenities.
Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
Please note that all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
Worth Mention:
The little ones will enjoy the "Hobbit Nook" nestled underneath the stairway leading up into the Loft from the Great Room.
All of the King beds offer luxury Kingsdowne mattresses.
All of the cabinetry throughout the house is hand-crafted and custom, and the granite is all hand-sourced.
There is ample level parking at Homestead Lodge, as well as a generous 2-car Garage.
The house has multiple SONOS Music Hubs.
Homestead is R-36 insulated.
All main level doors are 36" wide or wider which allows easy wheelchair access.
The Kitchen is stocked with dry spices for guest use as well as Keurig pods and a Keurig coffee maker.
Dual 75-gallon Hot Water Heaters with a Reserve tank almost guarantee ample on-demand hot water.
Homestead Lodge has a Verizon Wireless Cell Signal repeater.
Every nightstand has power and charging stations.
New Tesla charger with adapter for any EV vehicle is available at the home.

Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each
HOURS: Thur & Fri 4p-10p; Sat 2p-10p; Sun 2p-8p. (Please verify hours directly with the winery, as times may vary seasonally.)
Please note that all visitors on premises at the Winery must be 16 years or older, with the exception of Sundays. This is strictly enforced.
Restrictions
Guests & Occupancy
- Age Requirements: The primary renter must be at least 25 years old, sign the digital rental agreement, and occupy the property for the entire stay.
- Approved Use: Check-ins are not permitted on Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day, or Easter Sunday.
Events & Noise
- Events & Gatherings: Large gatherings, commercial events, and parties exceeding the property's maximum posted occupancy are strictly prohibited.
- Construction Noise: The community is actively expanding, and nearby construction may occur from 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
Prohibited Activities
- Pets: Up to 2 mature, well-trained dogs are permitted for $50 per pet, per night, plus tax. Other pets are prohibited unless an exception is approved in advance by phone.
- Smoking/Vaping: Smoking and vaping of any kind are prohibited inside the home. Smoking materials and litter must not be left outside.
- ATVs: Private ATVs are prohibited within the gated community, and security will deny entry to vehicles or trailers transporting them.
Equipment & Amenities
- Community Amenities: A mandatory community amenity fee applies. Access includes public walking trails and open pavilions. The private fitness center, Wine & Cigar Bar, and locked areas of the Sportsman's Lodge are reserved for permanent members and are not available to renters.
- Security Cameras: Active exterior security cameras are located on the garage framing and next to the front door. Cameras do not face windows or indoor spaces.

- Trash & Wildlife: Food and trash must not be left exposed outdoors. All trash must be securely bagged and placed in the designated exterior property bins to avoid attracting wildlife..
